I've tried it before, honestly. Sometimes it does let me manipulate my luck a little...but it's rarely so predictable. Besides, if I hurt myself enough, then I'll be at the mercy of my luck while I'm recovering...and my luck isn't very cooperative. Especially if I go too far with it...I spent years waiting for it to kill me, but it wouldn't let me die.
