[He has to know what's causing this. This is his third memory that he's gotten from this place, and he has no idea why. Why are they giving him so many of them. What the hell is he supposed to do with all of them anyways?

Besides wonder what the hell was his previous life anyways.

He waits until Leo is in the library, probably with a massive stack of books and staying up all night again. He sighs as he enters.]

Oh, a book on superstitions. I was bored and couldn't sleep last night.

Not really. Is something wrong?

That is the most random person for you to remember, Niles, since the two of you rarely interacted.

...That's funny. My memory says we had a long conversation together.

[Maybe they aren't from the same place after all.]

I mean, it's possible that you did, it's not like I kept tabs on you every second of every day. But you were my retainer, not hers. What conversation was this?

[deniles]

It was a conversation on how she babied someone named Corrin. And then another one on why I'm so cruel. And another when I apologized. It's... rather complicated.

[brynwieldr]

[....huh.]

Well, she does baby Corrin, I won't argue there. But--why you're cruel? You...brought that up to her?

[deniles]

Well... I happened to anger her enough that I got excited by telling her.

[Which really explains everything, to be honest.]

Yes, yes you would have. Impressive, if you managed to actually make Camilla angry.

[deniles]

I do like riling people up, after all.

[He's not going to say how much he enjoyed riling Camilla up because he doesn't want to incur any wrath but...

...Niles, please don't tell me you were aroused by riling my eldest sister up.

A small while ago, I received a smaller memory as well.

Something about me not having parents? Fairly basic.

...yes, I think you mentioned that to me a few times. We never spoke about it often, for various reasons. Are the two topics here related, Niles?

Besides the fact they were memories given to me in my sleep in the past while? Not really. Thought I should share at least.

[Leo nods, thinking.]

Will you tell me what you remember of your conversation with Camilla, where you were riling her up?

[deniles]

[And so he goes into detail about everything.]

[And the longer this conversation goes on, the more and more resigned Leo becomes until he's just headdesks.]

I have no idea why you're even surprised at this point.

Because she's my sister! Even if I never did bother controlling your behavior, it's still just mildly disturbing to think of my best friend telling my big sister to beat him, and knowing what you're like.

I mean, if she didn't know what I'm like, she wasn't really paying much attention at all.

Niles, very few people back home know just how deep your sadomasochism goes. It's rarely bothered me, this is just one of those "she practically raised me" things.

[deniles]

I'd like to say I'm fully aware of that. But these are just my memories, Leo.

[He's still mostly amnesia filled. He knows you, Camilla, and his lack of parents, but that's really everything he's got.]

No, I understand. Just chalk it up to being a baby brother.

I can make exceptions, of course. But if you prefer to continue to let me do as I wish, then I have no reason to stop you.
