What: So apparently those two jackass teenaged shinki are staying. Fushimi doesn't approve of this and is getting the heck out for a while.

[Yeah, so, after realizing Roy had taken in two abandoned shinki and that one of them was the Asshole from the Festival and the other his strangely codependent best friend (which Fushimi thought was concerning and really he should maybe try to fix that (yes, the irony is lost on him)), Fushimi has been doing his best to either hide in is bedroom or be anywhere not the damn temple. He can't really get mad at Roy for taking them in. He was a genuinely decent guy and sure, Fushimi was now dealing with this fear of being replaced if one of the brats was a weapon better suited for Roy, but he also knew he was the exemplar and, frankly, there would be few abilities better than his for fighting so he's okay. He swears.

Still getting out for a while.]

The Far Shore

[Fushimi is most likely going to be found around Njord's temple a lot. Misaki is there, after all, even if he's not really keen on the whole "beach" air she's got going on here. He'll also spend a lot of time just sort of. Sitting outside of it, texting Misaki to come invite him or waiting for the idiot to get back so he can be let in, typing away at his laptop.

This may or may not be creepy. Feel free to call him out on this.

Or feel free to see him wandering around, bored and poking at his phone.]

The Near Shore

[Sometimes he gets bored of being dead and heads into Tokyo. Usually, this is to find some tech something, as the more Fushimi messes with technology the more he realizes that he can make more interesting things. Still, parts are always useful, as are games, so he does often find something to buy.

Please don't ask how he gets this money. He does not want to explain "forum moderation" and "freelance codework" to someone he doubts will get it.

And he certainly doesn't want anyone to bring up the questionable legality of some of the freelance he does. What are morals?]

[ It's becoming less and less of a surprise to find Saru hanging around his place these days. And Yata doesn't mind, but he's still a little worried about it. If only because Saru had seemed to like his new god and he didn't want to see his friend slip into a situation like he'd been stuck with Tsuna and Hibari. Although thankfully, Chikusa and Ken didn't seem to be anything like Hibari.

When he gets a text this morning that Saru's outside, he pokes his head out the door, looking amused. ]

You know, you could just start letting yourself inside.

That's creepy.

[And sitting outside the temple apparently isn't. Okay.

Fushimi packs up his laptop and heads over to Misaki.]

I hate teenagers.

And lurking outside my door every morning isn't?

[ Despite the sarcasm in the words, there's laughter lingering there too as he steps aside and makes room for the other shinki. ]

You hate everybody, why should teenagers be an exception? Who did what now?

Obviously not.

[God, Misaki. Fushimi bonks Misaki's head with a fist as he steps past his friend.]

Be a teenager who tried to kill me when we first me. [Duh.] And I don't have everybody. [Obviously.] I'm here, aren't I?

[ Ow.

Yata ducks at the blow, even though it was all in play, clutching at his hat and rolling his eyes at Saru as he moved past him and made himself at home, as he often does. ]

Well, considering you're terrible at first impressions, I don't think I'm surprised at that. Has he tried to kill you again after that?

[ Because Chikusa doesn't strike him as the sort to bother expending that much energy without good reason... ]

I haven't given him a chance to, because I'm not a moron. Is your god here? I still haven't met her.

Probably, but if she is, she's in the house.

[ Since he had one of the guest houses out in the backyard, near the freaking water park because his goddess was apparently incredible - which he knew, but that was for reasons other than her kickass temple. ]

I can take you to meet her later, if you wanna.

And that didn't stop him the first time you met, since I doubt you gave him much of a chance then either. Come on, it was probably a one-time thing, give him a second chance.

Why would I want to give him a second chance? He's an asshole, and so's his friend.

[Pot, meet kettle.]

I like you better, I don't see why you're complaining.

So are you. [ He sees you there, pot. kettle. whichever you were in this scenario. ] Hell, so am I. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying... if you gotta share a god with them, maybe you should figure out if you can get along. I mean. At least you'd know if he'd try to kill you every time you bumped into each other.

[ Because that could totally be a thing with asshole shinki, you know. He found that out first hand. But Chikusa didn't seem the same sort of crazy as Hibari. And Ken had seemed pretty fun, if a little weird. ]

[ He makes a frustrated noise and gestures at Saru. ]

No. I don't want you to go. You got a place here as long as I got a place here, got it? But you've also got a god. A good god. One you even like, and don't give me that face, I know you do. Roy's great and I'm glad you got assigned to him. But I don't want to see you lose that, either.

Maybe you won't be able to get along with Chikusa and Ken, but maybe they're not as bad as first impressions might have seemed. I don't think they're like... [ He stops, because he hadn't talked much about what had happened at Tsuna's temple. Not to anyone, not even Saru in all the details of it. He shakes his head and continues again, changing what he'd been about to say. ] I just don't think they're all that bad. Weird, yeah, but who're we to judge? You can work around weird. you manage with me.

[Fushimi sure does make a Face when Misaki calls him out on liking Roy--that's not the point here. The point here is Fushimi doesn't want to work with these brats and Misaki is making far too much sense for an idiot.]

[ He has been wondering where he's been off to so often recently. He figures that it's most often with Yata, but, well, big brothers worries.

He's not the only one worrying either, which was more than evident when he spotted Sicily jump the fence and head off toward the more populated areas of the Far Shore. At least he caught up and hooked a lead to his halter so it at least didn't look like the horse went off on his own accord.

It's also the horse who is first to approach, carefully taking Fushimi's shirt between his lips and pulling. As if a fairly sizable horse wouldn't be noticed looming over you anyway. Even if one were distracted by a computer screen for reasons a guy from the past like him can't even begin to understand. ]

You alright, son?

[ He knows you, you damn monkey. And wow sometimes he makes sense! Don't look so surprised about it. ]

You are the only person, alive or dead, who can probably say that with a straight face. We're all a little weird. You just have to figure out which sort of weird they are and if you can live with it. I'm not saying go off and become best friends with them [ because that just seems like a little much. ] but maybe you can find something in common. At the very least, the three of you have the same god to look after and take care of now - that should be something you can work together on, right?

[Fushimi hears Sicily before he feels the teeth tugging, so he's already reaching out to pet him when Roy catches up.

(He has a soft spot for this dumb animal. It's stupid.)]

[That man takes care of them more than any shinki could take care him and Yata knows it.

And seriously, he shouldn't be this smart.]

Tch, I don't like them. I'm not wasting my time.

[ Bite him, Monkey. ]

Yes, he's Roy and he's your god. [ That's important Saru. ] You're avoiding your own home and temple because of them. You think he's not gonna notice? That's not gonna fly for long. It's not a waste of time if you can figure out a way to.... I dunno, exist in each other's general vicinity or whatever.

Besides. You told me you didn't like me the first time we met here, too, and look where we are now.

[ You can be wrong about things sometimes, you know. ]

What are you doing?

[He tilts his head, somewhat curious as he looks at Fushimi.]

[Fushimi scoffs again and pushes past Misaki to go flop on his sofa, opening is laptop up again.]

So what if he's my god? If he was a jackass, would you be harping on that?

[Fushimi quickly pockets his cellphone. Please don't have seen the subject of that email.]

Does it matter?

No. [ Yata seems decidedly firm on that matter, surprisingly enough. ] If your god was a jackass, he wouldn't be your god long. [ Saru didn't seem to deliberate over things like that like Yata would. ] But he's not and you like him being your god so I want you to be happy there.

Being without one sucks. And the fact that he let me stay as long as he did, and picked up those two when their god vanished? Just shows how great a god he is. THey're not as common as you'd think around here.

[ Still, he follows him into the room, flopping down beside him, half-sprawled on Saru anyway, even though there's plenty of room on the couch. ]

[Fushimi just picks up his laptop and uses Misaki's legs as as desk.]

It sucks for you. I didn't mind not having one.

I suppose not, but you do stand out a bit.

[Lavi raises an eyebrow.]

...You're Fushimi, aren't you?

[Fushimi freezes and then turns to face this stranger. If looks could kill, Lavi'd be so much molecular dust.]

And?

[A stranger loitering around your home isn't generally the kind of thing to ignore. Still, this is a bit unusual. Nami has never spoken with him, but she recognizes his face. This boy was present when Yata died. They knew each other.

So Nami isn't particularly concerned about him so much as feeling entitled to harass him a little. After all, he's regularly showing up on her turf and never even took the courtesy of introducing himself!

She teleports behind him while he's sitting with a laptop, allowing her shadow to fall over him. And she grins darkly.]

You know... there's a fee for being on my property without permission.
