[Maybe Sonic should have called ahead to let Hajime know he was coming, but the truth is he wasn't sure he wanted to come. Even if he did like the idea of having his hair played with, friendship was a vulnerability that he just didn't want.]

[But there was no way Hajime was going to leave him alone, so he might as well get this over with.]

[He's in casual clothes as he approaches the temple; black cat tights, short shorts, and an over-sized, long sleeved shirt labeling him as "explicit content." His hair is down already, since there's no point in putting it up if Hajime is just going to take it down again, and he's got a box of a dozen cupcakes to soothe over any offense he's made by showing up unannounced.]

[Well. Eleven cupcakes. He left one at home for Ekko]

[Guess whose outside the temple anyway? This girl right here. There a few more flowers planted around the entrance from the last time he came. They all seem to be in an array of colors with no particular order in mind. Judging by the fresh dirt, they were planted sometime in the early morning. Hajime had spent most of her morning working on sprucing up the temple just that much more. It needed to be super inviting to everyone after all! More color! More personality!

She's humming some kind of catchy tune as she tips the watering can in her hands to shower her newly planted friends.]

Drink up~! Gulp gulp. Is that good?

[She smiles sweetly to them before lifting her head and spotting a dark spot--oh hey it's not a spot, it's a person--Even better! It's Sonic Hermes!]

Hermes! Hello hello!

[She shifts the watering can to her left hand as she lifts her right one to wave to him. Unannounced arrival? No biggie!]

[He waves back as he approaches, then holds out the box of cupcakes once he reaches Hajime. Her exuberent welcome makes him feel even more out of place, but, well. He'll push it down and get over it. He's here now, after all, no backing out.]

Your flowers look nice. [haphazardly placed, but nice enough]

I think so too! They're happy to see you, see?

[She puts her palms together and spreads her fingers, wiggling them a little as if trying to copy what a open flower looks like. But the action only lasts a for a few seconds before she takes the box of cupcakes]

Oh! You brought sweets! Thank you Hermes~!

I'm sure they're more happy to see you than they are me. You're the one with the watering can.

[He gives her the very smallest of smiles as she takes the cupcakes and shrugs] It seemed rude to come without bringing something. There's an assortment, since I didn't know what kind you liked best.

Maybe! Who knows! Can you speak flower? I can't.

[With the watering can set to the side, She holds the container close to her chest. for safe keeping. Hajime loves sweets so this is perfect.]

No this is great! You're super thoughtful! If you ever meet Susu-kun, you should tell him to take lessons from you!

[She bounces up and leads him through the front]

C'mon! C'mon!

It's only good manners. [he shrugs, but his smile grows a little bigger as he follows Hajime inside] I'll be sure to tell him you made the recommendation, although if he needs lessons that badly, he may not appreciate it.

He won't. Susu-kun is super stubborn! You'll know him when you meet him though. He likes trash, numbers and pie. He's really good at math but bad with people.

[She's skipping all along, leading him through the temple. It's a rather big place with tall cielings, tiled floors and a fitting overall Egyptian theme throughout due to her respective pantheon. Though it clearly has received some of Hajime's touch with some of the walls recieving a new bright coat of paint and design. The temple may have a theme, but slowly Hajime is making it more homey and welcoming.]

Do you want anything to drink, Hermes? I have lemonaid and left over soda from the party.

He likes trash. [What a wonderful thing to say about a person. But from what he knows of Hajime, it's probably incredibly accurate] Well, I suppose I'll have to bring him the garbage from my temple when I go to visit him, won't I?

Lemonade is fine. [He's not really a soda drinker, after all] One of the cupcakes is raspberry lemonade flavored, they'll go good together.

You can! He can make really cool art out of it though!

[Though she may be listing negative qualities, all if it is said with a chipper tone. She doesn't judge for it, it's just all things that make Susu-kun, Susu-kun!]

Lemonade it is then! [First stop, the room. She gently pushing her door open with her foot once they arrive. She's tried to make it close in appearance to her room back home. Though it's still a work in progress and there have been some new attentions with the mirror and other personal items she's collected from her stay, its all still her.

Pulling the small table from under the desk with her foot, she hops as she drags it out before placing the cupcakes on it.]

I'll go get the drinks real quick! I don't want you getting lost, Hermes! This place is really big. Make yourself at home! My room is your room! B-R-B!

[Skipping out~]

[Oh sweet baby Jesus. Once Hajime leaves the room, Sonic spends a minute or two just standing there, staring at her room in abject horror. It's... it's so busy. He shouldn't be surprised, given Hajime's genki personality, but how do you live with all that stuff everywhere? How do you even get this much stuff?]

[He's just... going to sit down by the table and try not to feel claustrophobic while Hajime's gone]

[Luckily it doesn't take her long. She doesn't want to keep him waiting so it's a quick trip to the kitchen. Since he already brought cupcakes, a snack isn't needed. Two tall cold glasses of lemonade with a cute swirly straw and she's on her way back.]

Ta-Da!

[She beams once she enters the room, holding out a glass out for him. Of course its the one with the purple straw]

Here you go!

[Once he takes it, she plops down right next to him and pulls the cupcakes over. Cupcakes first, then hair! She's already pulling the lid off and setting it between them]

Tell me about Hermes! I know some from what we talked about before, but theres gotta be more right? Do you ever do anything with your hair besides tying it up?

[He never ever complain about being handed purple things!] Thank you.

You pick first, I did bring them for you. [He'll take a sip of the lemonade, then sigh at her question. Why does she always want him to talk about himself?] I'm not sure there's anything more interesting to say than what I've already told you. You've clearly already picked up that I like the color purple. [he gestures to the straw] I've told you about Ino, and you know I'm a ninja. There's really not that much more than that.

[She's going for one of the raspberry lemonade ones then because those sounded too good to pass up. She picks it up with care and marvels at it for a second]

That's not a lot for someone being twenty-five. Ino sounds adorable still! I guess being a ninja is most of your life, huh? Still it's fun to learn more about you, since we're friends!

[She smiles before unwrapping the cupcake a bit to take a bite out of it. One taste and she shivers a little, cheeks lighting up before she smiles while chewing. So good! She even wiggles her feet under the table in joy]

[Sonic takes a strawberry one for himself. As good as the raspberry lemonade cupcakes look, strawberry is still his favorite. He peels back the wrapper as she speaks, shrugging his shoulders]

I never really had a life outside of work. There might be something else, but I'm not used to talking about myself outside of a professional setting, and I'm sure you don't want to know about my body count. What do you even want to know?

Do you keep count?

[She actually pauses and looks at him, surprised. But no, he is right, that isn't something she's interested in]

I donno. I just want to know more about you. You seem really interesting and you're nicer then you really let on at first. I just feel there's more to you! I want to know anything and everything you're willing to tell me!

[She licks a bit of frosting off her fingers]

But we're probably stuck here for awhile so we have lots of time to get to know each other! So its okay if that's all... You can ask me anything too! [See? it's a fair trade]

[another shrug] Having a solid number is impressive to prospective employers. It speaks louder than any amount of bragging could.

[sigh] You're really not getting how little experience I have with leisurely social interaction, are you? [he purses his lips, ducking his head slightly] I don't know what I'm supposed to want to know about you. I know what I would want to know if you were a target, such as weaknesses, people important to you, places you frequent, your daily schedule, but...

Well, I'd rather not think about you that way.

[Hajime watches him thoughtfully, taking another big bite of the cupcake while he speaks. Being a social butterfly herself, it is hard for her to understand having a lack there of. But she can at least try. Never give up]

Then we will give you experience! The information you mentioned that you'd want if I was a target isn't that much different actually! I like you so I would trust you with that stuff. That's sort of how friends work! But that's fine, you don't have to trust me. But...there's not 'suppose to' anything! Hermes, there's no rules to this. Just do and ask what you want! If you donno what that is, just go by instict or what feels right.

[She takes a sip of the lemonade]

No, I mean- [he sighs again, putting down his cupcake so that he could shift out to the side and stretch out one leg, pulling the other up to his chest] I don't want to approach this as if you are someone I'm going to eventually hurt. I suppose asking you outright rather gathering the information covertly is different, but at the same time, the information doesn't seem important.

[he rests his cheek against his knee, giving Hajime a side-long look] I suppose a better way of putting it would be to say that I'd like for you to tell me about the things that you think are important. I would rather know how you define yourself, rather than write the definition for you.

Oh. Okay! I'm just me. Hajime.

[Yep. That's it. She does give a big smile to him as she stuffs the rest of the cup cake into her mouth. Frosting dots the corners of her mouth and tips of her fingers but she doesn't seem to mind. After chewing for awhile and swallowing it, she takes the lemonade with her clean hand and takes a long sip to wash it all down before letting out a satisfied 'ahh~' Looking at him again, he reminds her of a cat almost. With the side look and the way he is stretched out. It's cute.]

I value a lot of things though. My friends, myself...everyone is important! That's why there are heroes.

[She giggles and leans more towards him, reaching out with one of her frosting covered fingers to poke him on the nose]

I think you're important. Today is importantto me too. I get what you're saying, I really do, but if I told you everything we'd be here allllll day.

[He makes a face at the mention of heroes, wrinkling his nose up and furrowing his brow, then he sighs, rolling his eyes in a very put-upon fashion as she dabs frosting on his nose]

And I assume you think Hajime is very cute, don't you? [he wipes the frosting off, licks his finger clean, then sticks it in the frosting of his own cupcake, reaching out to swipe it across her cheek]

You can tell me everything today if you want to, or you could tell me nothing. Either is fine. I'll be happy to get to know who Hajime is at whatever rate you think is best.

[She laughs, if anything, Sonic looks very cute with frosting on his nose. But it only lasts for a second before he wipes it off. But when he reaches out to do something similar to her, she leans away just out of reach. No way, not that easily! But she does over a cheeky smile]

Heehee~! I'd rather know about you. Of what you told me, it doesn't feel like I know you at all. Even if you make a funny face about heroes. We'll learn about eachother together!

[She didn't miss that face. No way. Not like he was hiding it anyway. She scoops up a glop of frosting with her finger from another cupcake and flicks it at him playfully before licking her own fingers]

Have you thought about your hair at all? What you would like, Hermes?

[Well fine, if she's going to be like that, he uses his speed to zip over her side of the table, smear as much frosting over her face as he can, and then zip right back before the motion blur even fades]

[With that taken care of, he settles down to actually eat his cupcake] Unfortunately, there are some things I can't tell you. I didn't notice when I first got here, but starting about a month or two ago, a lot of details about my life have become a blur.

You can do whatever you like with my hair, though. Brush it out first, though, if you don't mind.

[Hajime blinks! She sits there rather stunned. There's no way she can outmatch his speed so her face ends up covered in frosting. She sits there for a long moment before bursting into laughter and clapping her hands.]

Aaaaaa~! Hermes! You're so fast! I don't think I even saw you move!

[Her eyes are lit up in excitement once again though she does reach for a napkin and proceed to wipe her face clean.]

Oh? Like you forgot? I still remember alot about home and Gatchaman.

[She stands up as she wipes her hands clean with a napkin.]

[He gives a grin for acknowledging his speed, perking up considerably. Nothing lifts his spirits like a chance to show off and be praised]

I'm the fastest around. There's no one here who can compete with my speed.

[He sobers a little bit at the question, though] Something like that. I don't mind too much, I don't think I was very close to my family, and I'm sure you don't want to hear about my work.

[he pauses, considering] I could talk about the new memories and friends I've made here, if you like. Do you know Sora?

You really are amazing, Hermes!

[Yep! And she means it too! Sho and Sonic are both super fast. Though she's starting to think that Sonic is a bit zetta faster. Sho can teleport but Sonic's speed, she can feel it!]

Tell me whatever you like!

[She moves over to her dresser and opens it up. She starts digging around for different things. Hair brush ect.]

Ah! I've heard of Sora~! I think I spoke to him once too. He's a friend of yours?
