[Joshua is not one for parties. He didn't particularly want to come. But, at the same time, the situation with Sora... Something seems very off about it. And it's enough to pique his interest, which in turn is enough to get him to begrudgingly agree to attend a party full of people he doesn't know and has no interest in knowing, save for pure entertainment value.
But, attending doesn't necessarily mean he has to be social. He can very easily stay a wallflower and observe from the sidelines without actually having to participate! Which is why he's in the kitchen at the moment, inspecting the snack selection. Goodness, so many sweets... Tajimamori would be perfectly at home, here.
In fact, the chips are the only thing that don't look like they're promising imminent cavities, so that's what Joshua is going for. At present, he's leaned up against the wall, tabbing through his phone while nibbling at one of the seaweed variety. Better than sugar, in his book.]

[... and once the house has become boring or too crowded for his liking, Joshua takes a change of scenery in the form of going outside. On the dock, of course. It's nowhere near as immediately threatening as being near the shore, and he doesn't particularly want to get sand in his shoes, either. Staying on firm, sand-less ground seems fine by him.
Seated on top of a piling, he seems to be - once again - locked to his phone. Though, if you get close enough, you'll see that he's not actually doing anything important. Instead, he's immersed in a puzzle game. Going to a party and being social? What is that? He's never heard of it.
Though, once it gets dark, he may actually come out for sparklers. Just to watch, of course.]
