Fortunately for him, he's only horribly nearsighted and not completely blind, but his acute hearing hasn't failed him thus far, and relying on it has done him no harm. His head tilts, picking up a voice he recognizes, grin on him automatic. If it's sarcasm, he doesn't know it as such, but with familiarity and time - if they get that much - he'll know for sure. For now, he treats it with a light curiosity.
