[Maybe it was silly to worry so much about how this place was being run. But she couldn't help it. There were so many questions, and she'd always been a curious girl.] I'm sure it's not easy. I certainly don't envy the ones in charge. [She imagined they probably had a tough time of it, keeping everyone organized all the time.] Yea, that's how I see it. [She didn't really want it to seem like she was just agreeing with him for the sake of doing so, but she also had no issue with letting him know when she genuinely agreed with something he'd said. Why did this seem so hard?] You sound way too happy about that.

[Marinette is blinking at that odd laugh, but she's not saying a thing about it.] That's right. [A nod.] Absolutely. [He seemed to know what he was talking about, and it was comforting.

Truth be told, she was glad he hadn't said anything about her little slip. It was bad enough that she'd forgotten for a second, but somehow the idea of him asking about it seemed like it would be worse. Or maybe she was just being ridiculous.

The look on his face was adorable, and it was only at that point that she realized what she'd said.] Ahaha, sorry! [She'd have to be more careful about that from now on.] I just meant you were doing a good job. And yea, I know what you mean.

You like it. And I promise not to do it too much, don't worry. [Mostly she's just glad that he's willing to accept her explanation.] It will be. [It wasn't like she'd lost him forever. As much as it'd hurt to watch him die, she could rest easy knowing that he was still with her. And that was actually a pretty confusing thought, but she decided not to think too much about it right now. They'd told them that all the shinki had died at some point, anyway, so it wasn't even news. Maybe it was just the fact that it was him.] Yea. [Was he really worried that she'd regret this?] I could never regret choosing you. You don't ever have to worry about that. [He sounded so serious, and it made her heart ache that such a thing would even occur to him at all.]

Your poor, fragile ego. [She was fighting the urge to giggle at that. That question caught her off guard, though, and she's tapping her chin thoughtfully as she considers for a moment.] Well... right now you're soft and comfy. But I might have to get back to you on that. [It was probably as good as he was going to get for now.] Mmm... I don't think I'm allergic to you. [There's a statement she never would've imagined she'd be saying to anyone.] Oh! Yea. [And now she felt a little sheepish about how much she was enjoying having him as a scarf.] Adrien, revert! It'll be a lot easier to get there this way, especially if you have to lead us there.
