What: Just a medieval boy thrown into a modern world. Desperately needing clothes that aren't a tunic and leggings. And he asks a Nomura character for help.

[Leo, honestly, needed a break from all of this nonsense. He'd had to break up a fight between Niles and some friend of Hakkai's (poor Hakkai), he needed to get a sword for fighting those monsters, he needed something to read...

And he needed clothes. What he had was still serviceable, but he stuck out terribly here and frankly, he was tired of wearing the same leggings. But he knew nothing about this new world or how to--

Sora. Sora knew things about this world and he liked the other boy. He'd help.

After fumbling with his device for a moment, he manages to "call" Sora.]

[After a whole day of sleeping Sora was finally back to being somewhat normal. The house was still a disaster and he probably should work on that so.............

Oh nevermind that noise, someone was calling him.

He checks his phone to see Dad Guy! written on the caller id. He answers.]

Hey Leo, what's up?

Sora. I need your help.

[oathkeeper]

[Whoa, this sounds serious.] Are you okay?! What's wrong! Did your shinki do something weird again?

[brynwieldr]

Niles? [Leo sighs] No, that was yesterday. It's nothing serious, Sora, I just need help finding new clothing.

[oathkeeper]

Oh! That's it? Tired of your weird stuff?

[brynwieldr]

It isn't weird. Leggings and a tunic are perfectly normal. I just need more to wear, that's all.

[oathkeeper]

Uh huh. Okay Leo. [Sora's looking dubious and nodding, not that Leo can see though.]

More to wear! Okay, let's go shopping! I'll help you out.

[brynwieldr]

I have never seen those rough blue pants ever in my life, Sora. But yes, if you would?

[oathkeeper]

[...Is he talking about jeans? Wow, he really did need help.]

Sure! Meet me in town! Leave it to me.

[Sora would be waiting for Leo as he said, in the shopping district of town.]

[And Leo eventually finds him. Thank the gods for that haircut of his]

Sora. Thank you again.

[Perks of being a genki protag, really.]

Not a problem! You're gonna have to tell me what other stuff you like besides leggings and weird shirts first though. Like colors and stuff? It's spring but summer is probably gonna be pretty hot.

[Also thank god humans couldn't pay attention to them for long because Leo really did need less weirdo clothes.]

[Leo glances down at his clothing]

Tunics are not weird. But I am fond of purples, blacks, and other darker shades. They're traditionally the colors of dark mages and my family.

[oathkeeper]

Well I guess that's a good start as any!

[Sora looks up and down the street for a moment, trying to pick a store that would work. He picks a random Japanese male clothing store first. He points and starts to head over.]

Let's try that one.

[Leo follows]

I refuse to wear those rough blue pants, just as a note.

Jeans, Leo!

[Sora walks into the store with a bounce in his step. This was actually probably going to be pretty fun! Their first dad and son hang out. Mega cool.

Sora was a fan of lots of shorts, t-shirts, belts, pockets, tassels, hoodies etc. So he picks out a few items for Leo to try first. He starts wildly grabbing items off shelves, shoving them in Leo's arms. Some comfortable looking shorts some t-shirts and a purple hoodie.]

This, this. And this. These look neat.

[Whenever Sora hands him something that looks too outlandish, Leo quietly sets it aside. He keeps the hoodie, though, and some of the nicer looking items.]

What are these things, anyway?

[oathkeeper]

[Sora looks at Leo over his shoulder.] They're called tee-shirts!

[He didn't notice Leo putting things back so he just keeps loading him up.]

This, this and, this one's awesome too!

Whatever.

[The first two he sets aside, but he likes the third one]

These look like nothing I'd wear.

[Sora stops for a second to stare at Leo. He doesn't like the pineapple shirt? He's slightly offended, honestly.]

Riiiight. You like dark scary colors I forgot.

[Sora was a fan of yellows, reds and blues. But to each their own. He picks out three more things that might be a little closer to Leo's tastes and a little less flashy. Along with some dark pants and shorts. 1 2 3]

Take these and go try it all on!

They're not scary, they're just dark.

[Honestly. Well, at least these shirts are more along the lines of something he might pick out.]

Is there a tailor to make sure these fit somewhere...?

Uhhh-

[Sora looks around the store. He's not sure really, he always fit clothes that he bought in the right sizes.]

I don't know? We just make sure we get the right sizes! I guess we could always ask someone to fix anything if it doesn't fit right.

[A second later, Sora's eye catches one last shirt he wants Leo to get. He snatches one and holds it up to Leo.]

You have to get this one too!!

Sizes? What do you--

[Leo looks at the shirt and just stares at Sora]

No, Sora.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora doesn't relent.]

No, you have to! It's perfect!

[brynwieldr]

Sora, I'm maybe five years older than you and look younger than I am. I can't have a shirt that says...whatever that is dad!

[oathkeeper]

Rad dad! It means you're awesome!

[Sora knows he's not suppose to consider Leo his actual dad but come on. Seriously. Leo was his spiritual father. Right? Something like that?]
