Amaterasu

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-01-24 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
[Ah, so this was about what happened then!]

I did hear that was caused by someone. [As for the violence, well, he did cause a bit of that himself. Not really going to comment on that.]

But they should have been caught by now...right? Like, that was a while ago.

Who was it anyway?

[personal profile] ammyterasu 2018-01-24 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
We don't know. They must have left before the problems started, although we did get a description.

[She's frowning, worry clearly overtaking her fragile determination to have some fun.]

And they haven't showed up anywhere in the Heavens since... although I'm sure if they do we'll catch them.
trademark_skull: (Whut u say?)

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-01-28 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
[It seems Shun may have been right about how "well" the Heavens handles everything. It leaves kind of a bad taste knowing how familiar it is.]

If you don't know who it is, how do you know they weren't invited? [It was an open festival after all right? At least that's how he remembered it.]

Besides them making a mess of everything anyway.
ammyterasu: (06)

[personal profile] ammyterasu 2018-01-31 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Because they weren't someone who should have been in the Heavens at all. We can tell who does and doesn't belong here.

[Although they can't always tell when people who do belong here are doing things they shouldn't. There have been so many problems recently. Ebisu, Susano'o...]
trademark_skull: (I forgot)

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-02-07 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
At all..?

[Now, that is almost interesting.]

...Are there other types of beings besides gods and ayakashi?
ammyterasu: (07)

[personal profile] ammyterasu 2018-02-09 09:26 pm (UTC)(link)
At all.

[She frowns at him, confused.]

There are other spirits....
trademark_skull: (Is this thing on?)

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-02-10 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
[Oho~] What are they like? Are they demons? Ayakashi are sorta like demons too but they aren't too bright...not that all demons are very smart either.

[Did Emizel just dis himself..?]

But if they were sabotaging things, then I can't imagine they're all that willing to talk.
ammyterasu: (05)

[personal profile] ammyterasu 2018-02-23 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Demons exist, and so do spirits of other living things, but the only things that should be in Takamagahara are the acknowledged gods and their servants.

[She sounds very uncertain. The way Emizel discusses demons is a little ... strange.]

But I don't know what kind of being it was. I wasn't there to see it.

[At that admission, she pouts, just a little.]
trademark_skull: (Having meltdown brb)

Tsuzuki

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-01-28 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
[Nope. Never has, and probably never will. He just stares at Tsuzuki and the tuna waringly.]

...Fish and I have never really gotten along.

[That is just a polite answer to "no, he hates it."]
sweetdeath: (abuh?)

[personal profile] sweetdeath 2018-01-28 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
[Is it even possible not to like fish!?

Tsuzuki blinks in incomprehension for a few minutes, then shrugs, grins, and eats another piece of sashimi.]

Well, okay! More for me.

So what kinds of stuff do you like?
trademark_skull: (Nope)

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-02-10 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
[Yes it's entirely possible. Fish is gross!]

[...But having to think of what his favorite foods are is kind of hard. He was taking a bite out of some bread.]

I mean, I'm not that picky. Fish is just terrible. Most vegetables by themselves are as bad too. And fruit. And milk...

[These just sound like things a lot of kids dislike.]
sweetdeath: (roguish grin)

[personal profile] sweetdeath 2018-02-12 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
... So basically, it's down to pizza and barbecue?

[He's snickering. Wow, that really does sound like the kind of thing a kid would eat.]
trademark_skull: (Is this thing on?)

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-02-13 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
[Emizel is just showing his age.]

Yeah! Those kinds of stuff are fine. Why can't there be more of that?
sweetdeath: (wink!)

[personal profile] sweetdeath 2018-02-14 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey, don't worry. You can always pick up that kind of stuff at street carts. It's not so great for a fancy party, though!
trademark_skull: (Why is there a crater)

Hakkai

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-01-28 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
Mine is all stone. [But someone probably could burn the fields if they wanted to. It won't get close enough to hurt him, but it might upset the tiny death god a lot.]

I don't know, I just think it's kinda weird.

[personal profile] reformedsinner 2018-01-28 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
It is, I agree. I'd think that the higher gods ought to be able to prevent something like that....

[He adopts a thoughtful expression, and concedes:]

Unless they're under attack from a more powerful force?
trademark_skull: (Le sigh)

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-02-10 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I dunno what else could be stronger than a god.

[Emizel shrugs a little.]

Then again the longer I've been here, the more they seem no different as us. ...It's a weird thing to wrap around.
reformedsinner: (as a matter of fact!)

[personal profile] reformedsinner 2018-02-12 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Another god? There's a range of strength between them, it seems.

[Hakkai shakes his head in response.]

Gods are more powerful than mortals, but, in my experience, that doesn't mean they have particularly enlightened personalities.
trademark_skull: (Break time)

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-02-13 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
It's no different for demons. There's some that are incredibly weak and some that can rule over entire worlds.

I would think gods would be in a league all of their own. [Especially given how their own God operates.]
reformedsinner: (elementary my dear dragon)

[personal profile] reformedsinner 2018-02-13 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
[Hakkai spreads his hands, smiling just a little. There's a certain amusement in the fact that gods aren't as omnipotent as they like to seem, after all.]

Apparently not! Like demons, they seem to vary in strength.
trademark_skull: (What's this?)

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-02-25 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
It makes it feel a lot like home...

[Regardless how weird being a demon in Heaven is.]

I could kinda get used to that, if I'm gonna be here for very long.

Shun

[Way to make things even more frustrating... Good to hear some have tried though.]

...It must be that they don't trust us then? But I can't think what would be so worth hiding from us.

Unless it is the other way around. Maybe we can't really trust them.
revolutionfalcon: (you have five seconds)

[personal profile] revolutionfalcon 2018-02-04 03:04 pm (UTC)(link)
So I've heard. Apparently the majority of the old gods don't seem to think we're worth the risk of passing information to. [Amaterasu has one opinion, but according to Suijin, most of the rest of the Heavens has quite another.]

It's probably both. They're certainly not extending a hand to us, and it's making us more reluctant to work with them.
trademark_skull: (This is awkward)

Viktor

[personal profile] trademark_skull 2018-02-11 06:56 am (UTC)(link)
He studied Viktor's movement and followed. He had also been watching the way everyone else was dancing this whole time, so it wasn't that foreign. But Emizel did not quite understand it either. It was just a few steps. Nothing more.

"I think...I think I'm getting the hang of it." Finally, Emizel makes a move of his own. It's just a small one though, but slowly figuring out the rhythm.

Your god is learning.
