So does it means, you've been to Valhalla of this world?
[ Ever since he learned it's possible to drop at just any side of the world, and that perhaps no permission is needed for this- at least according to Yoon - he's been considering it. But he'd rather know what might be waiting out there.
Who is better to ask than someone clearly belonging to one of those pantheons on the other side of the world, not by representation but actual origin? ]

Yeah, but there are other "Heavens". [ He never left this, but he heard others mentioning it ] Have you ever trying paying visit one in the Scandinavia?
[ On the other hand, if she's representing Egyptian god, would the paperwork allow her only visit in Egypt? Damn you, bureaucracy!! He shrugs and adds just to be sure ]
You might get a better info on that from Nekhbet, he's the one who told me about this.

[Which seems enough of an answer. There is no benefit to going other places, hunting other information, when all of them are simply flawed reflections of where she properly belongs.]

But the conversation turned pretty grim, at least for a pleasant party like this one.

[The Valkyrie is not much on socializing.]

Lack of expectations can be a good thing too. I do hope you will be positively surprised.
no subject
I would wonder if such a thing could happen, but if it did... it would indeed be a surprise, and thus unforeseeable.

[ Unless you drink too, but if she's treating it like a professional responsibility - and one that is not to be enjoyed - she probably does not. At least so Caster assumes. ]

No mead? [ How dare..!! ]
That would mean no ale too... [ Was she to more Heavenly parties to know that deal? Probably, the way she spoke suggested she was here for a while. ]
Eh, at least the local sake isn't that bad.

I know a place that serves acceptable ale and mead. [ It's of course modern done, and compared to her experience, it's made by mortals. Surely the mead Valkyrie drink is NOT made by mortals ] If you ever wish to toast with the real deal.
[ And it took a while to find it ]

I haven’t been to that one yet! Have you? [ The yet is hanging here, he must, he must visit Shizuo’s bar if that’s the case. ] The one I’m talking about is in the Near Shore, in the area known as Shibuya.
no subject
I believe I visited near there once, but I did not know of this establishment. It seems strange to envision attending a mortal bar, as a god...
no subject
Why not? Where I come from, gods were often pretty close with mortals. [ He's the effect of some being way too close ] It's important to understand your followers, right?
no subject
[While that isn't quite true, she believes it, at least.]
no subject
[ That one time a previous king offended goddess Macha-- ]
Eh, probably better not to speak about it.
no subject
...though as a god, I regret that we do not offer more boons.
no subject
But maybe it's tied to rank. That we've been here too short to be given such responsibility.
no subject
You misunderstand. As a true god, an Aesir, I begin to regret that we are not more active in Midgard. The same may also be said of the true gods here. Those mortals who have been given divine titles, and their shinki, are more active in the Far Shore than they by far.
no subject
Do you think anything could be done about it? [ Sometimes talking to superiors works. Very rarely though. And some superiors would behead you for even trying. Given how different places are from where they come from, he's not going to jump straight into giving advice ]
no subject
Lord Odin has no mind for Midgard.
no subject
He answers carefully albeit a little resigned. ]
When you get all time in the world, changes can take you by surprise.
[ No one says it has to be a good change though. Twilight of the age of the gods is a thing, it's kind of amazing the Near Shore kept existing for as long as it did. ]
