At the very least, they won't use you as target practice immediately. [Or antagonize you just to see your shinki name.]

[ Oh, he knows exactly where to look for the person that'd do that. Stupid beanpole... ]

I'm gonna learn how to destroy every hat I see that one wearing.

You're not even in the least bit interested?

[There's a hint of teasing in his tone, giving Yata a grin.]

[ He squints for a moment, giving Izumo a suspicious look. ]

....Why?

[As soon as they're in position, he begins to lead the dance.

He almost snorts.]

It's not as if I announce that I dance often.

[Yes, the same jukebox that still sits in his bar long after Totsuka's death.]

Sorry! [ Smiling sheepishly. ] I guess it's not exactly something that would've ever come up in conversation, heh.

[ Looking away for just a moment, glancing at Izumo from periphery. ]

Aah, well, at least we're getting to do it now! In a way, I'm glad for that.

[At that, he smiles, giving Nari another kiss.]

Alright. At least this'll help you.

[Smilesmile.]

[It'd be absolutely rude of him to turn her down, wouldn't it?]

I'm glad you've been enjoying yourself tonight.

[ Not like Kairi would've really held it against Izumo for turning her down after she sprung that on him! He could have just laughed at her for being silly and let them keep talking. She does a spin under his arm as they move onto the dance floor. ]

Of course! I love spending time with my friends, especially like this doing something we don't normally get to do! Normally it's combat training, right?

[ Even if she knows that's important and generally enjoys it, given her partners. ]

[He's a gentleman. Sort of.

And he doesn't mind dancing with her.]

It is. But it's also much more enjoyable to simply allow ourselves to enjoy our time here without having to train all the time.

[Don't let Goten hear him say that.]

[She smiles and gets into the music more when Izumo says that, since originally she and Izumo had only spent a lot of time training together.]

Really? You like just hanging out too? What do you for fun - outside of the bar, I mean.

[Since she's still not... wholly comfortable there.]

[He laughs.]

Cooking, actually. And I do enjoy just taking walks around or explore the Near Shore once in a while.

[Izumo grins.]

I'd invite you over to my temple just to come taste test for me if you're not bothered by it. [Since he knows she's not comfortable at the bar.]

Ah... really?

[She sways with the music some more, smiling at his offer.]

I haven't been to your temple yet since the dinner, so I didn't really get to walk around much - that would be fun some afternoon for sure!

[It counts as spending time with a friend, after all.]

[He smiles back, leading her into a spin.]

Then feel free to stop by and visit.

[People like making Kairi spin, even in her suit, but she doesn't mind it. It's so much fun! She taps Izumo once as she spins and laughs, then taps him again when she spins a second time before finishing with a curtsy as the song ends.]

[He accepts the bowl, giving Hak a smile.]

But surprisingly, I don't.

[Izumo chuckles.]

Well, I certainly won't complain about that.

I didn't think you would. You don't seem like the type.
