And I'm glad I got back here in good time. It still worried Natsuru, but at least I wasn't gone the same amount of time here as I was there.

[Otherwise it would be a good several weeks at least before she returned, and that wouldn't have ended well for anyone.]

I didn't have time to get another one, either...I'd planned to go shopping the day after I visited you, but I must have departed that night, so I had to do it earlier today.

Yes, I'm not sure I would have had time for another on such short notice. But you've certainly made the best of it, all the same.

I'm glad it came out well in the end, I was worried I'd end up in too much of a rush trying to get everything together in time. [But thankfully, Forrest isn't the only one to have remarked on the outfit tonight, which she's taking as a sign that it really does look good if more than one person is saying so.]

But I'm planning to enjoy the party as much as I can to unwind after all that. It was good timing, if nothing else.

Of course, if you'd like to. [Maria isn't the type to hesitate at accompanying someone onto the dancefloor, and she's certainly planning to try and get a few of the wallflowers out there tonight.] How familiar are you with ballroom dancing? I know we've got a wide variety of experience levels here.

I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I doubt I'm as good as you are.

Well, I'm considered a professional, so I'm not going to expect anyone else to be that good. But if you can do it at all, that's a good start.

Really? That's good to hear, then, I think you'd be among the more experienced here if that's the case.

[Not a lot of people are actually trained in dance, and while she's not surprised Forrest is one of them, it is nice to know.]
