[It sounds like this might be a problem Amaterasu is unaware of, so Shun goes on in a more thoughtful tone. It's not something he's really had to break down in detail before now, even if he knows he's been feeling it.]

We do, but whatever information comes out of the patrols and other searches never makes it back to us. It makes people feel like they're ultimately not trusted, and that the older gods and shinki still don't care all that much about what happens to us, because we're never informed on what's actually going on. Even if we ask, a lot of the older shinki are reluctant to talk to us.

Are they? [She frowns, distressed.] Really? I should talk to them.

[After all, she's accepted the new gods and shinki! Although maybe her shinki are worried about all of the things that have happened since they arrived.

But if it's true that they're reluctant to speak to newcomers, then she should talk to them.]

And we'd tell you if we did find anything....

Even I've had some trouble getting information from them, and by the standards of the new gods, I'm supposedly high-ranking. [Shun sounds like he has some doubts about that actually being true, but he got moved to Central District a while ago and it's been mentioned previously tonight, so it looks like it is, in fact, somehow the case.

That last note makes him frown a bit, though, more out of thought than anything.]
You really haven't found anything at all on the incursions or attacks?

[It was obvious enough that the culprits were covering their tracks well, but that's a little too well to not be suspicious.]

We haven't discovered clues about who might be behind them.

[Her shoulders hunch up, just slightly, as she looks down at the floor.]

But I apologize for the rudeness of my shinki. I'll be sure to let them know that they should answer questions, if you and the other new gods have any.

[Shun's jaw tightens a bit at that, though he already looks like he's wondering about why. They'd have to be incredibly good at covering their tracks.

Still, it might be something to worry about when his focus isn't so scattered by the crowd in the room, so he just nods a little.]

Some of them are better about it than others, but we could do with exchanging information between ourselves being more normal than it is now. That should help.

If something comes up about the attacks and you need help investigating, I'm open to it.

Thank you.

[She adds, more quietly:] I really do appreciate your help. But we're doing our best, too.

So we have two groups doing their best alone, but think of how much more effective it would be if we had two groups doing their best together.

[As it is, it seems the conversation has come to a proper close this time, so Shun inclines his head slightly and starts to turn away again.] Keep an eye on the dancers if you want to dance. You might pick some things up before you do it yourself.
