Re: Orihime
[She nods sympathetically.]
I can understand that. It is just such a shame because there are some people such as myself that struggle with reading words that look like that--
[She means text rather than calligraphy.]
Perhaps this is uncouth, but I wonder if you have vocal chords. I do not think there is any form of cloth I can craft that can take advantage of that if true, but that is the kind of thing the Shinki Agency should have offered to you.
[Now she just sounds offended that they didn't do their job fully investigating options that Celty would have been satisfied with.]
... Surely your god can at least hear you while you are a vessel for them, yes?
Re: Orihime
To help the goddess, she tries increasing the font size before replying again.]
We've
Not actually done that yet.
She seemed to be more at ease with her other Shinki. I think they were from the same world maybe? That's what it sounded like.
I don't mind. Working by myself doesn't bother me.
And I'm sure she'll call on me when she needs me.
[Of course she also didn't know until tonight that Gojyo had left Sharak's employ either. Really the distance between them was from mutual loner attitudes.]
But you don't need to make anything for my sake. I think if I had vocal cords they're probably with my head.
Wherever it is.
[But she is aware that there are those who are unable to read for one reason or another ranging from age to being blind. She's done her best to try to be creative in those situations.]
Re: Orihime
Oh but have you not heard, my dear shinki? It is my expressed duty to craft things for others. I would be honored to do so, if it would benefit the bond between shinki and goddess.
[All the same... Her smile fades just a bit.]
That said I will not force the matter if you feel it has been settled between you; it is likewise not my duty to meddle in the affairs of other gods and their shinki.
[She nods to show she's serious.]
I am called simply Orihime. May I have your name and that of your goddess, then?
Re: Orihime
It's okay. Thank you, and I'll think about it. You're very kind to offer.
Oh! I didn't mean to be rude!
I'm Celty. It's pronounced with an S noise.
Celty Sturluson.
My goddess is Aditi, or Sharak if you know her personal name.
Re: Orihime
Very well, Celty. I shall take the matter up with your goddess in the future. I understand that some shinki are uncomfortable requesting my services that are normally designed for gods and goddesses.
[Then she rises back up.]
You have not been rude at all. It is my duty, after all.
