[She was just curious, really. There was quite a lot she didn't know about him, aside from his unnatural strength and that he had a secret talent for singing.]

[ Part of him wanted to say that it's been almost a year, honestly, but that wasn't true. Time had just been going long enough where it felt like that. ]

It was a little while before Tanabata, so just a few months.

Have you been with Yona since you arrived here?

Yeah. Actually, we both arrived at the same time. Which, I guess that makes me really lucky, because I know that a lot of people don't hold onto their partners for very long.

[ And it's not just one or the other. Shinki and Gods both lose their partners. He's witnessed this first hand on by Yona's other shinki showing up and disappearing within a month. ]

I've still got a really long way to go to even be decent. The way I am, I can't really do much to protect or help her out.
