Summary: The Heavens are throwing a formal party! Old and new gods alike are invited, so put on your nicest outfits and some good dancing shoes, and come see what this shindig is all about.

There's nothing wrong with that. Doing things that you and your friends enjoy is a good way to spend your time. It sounds like you were pretty busy. Is there no way you can do some of those things again? [It might not be exactly the same if her friends are no longer around, but maybe trying the activities again might make her smile.]

I'm enjoying this one so far! And that sounds like it was a lot of fun. I haven't been to a sleepover in ages. [She's just smiling, though.] I'm sure it was amazing.

[There'd be plenty of time to work out the details, but for now it's enough that Kairi was in agreement about it.]

Well, I can manage a cute hat or two if you want! Do you have a design in mind, or should I surprise you?

Some of them we can't do without more people, like playing baseball, and some of them just need supplies I haven't thought to buy yet, like carving wood or making a barrette for my hair like Senri did.

[So she looks more... wistful than anything else.]

I guess you're right, I could try those things on my own again, if only to remember some of those people. Or seeing if anyone would want a sleepover again. A lot of people weren't here for the previous one.

[Then she looks a little bit more upbeat at Marinette's other suggestion.]

Well, I stole Forrest's cap once or twice, so I do like that soft design. Other than that, thinking about it, I like star-shapes and the seaside like the beach. I'd enjoy being surprised though!

[She supposes that Kairi is right. Some things were just easier to accomplish with more than a couple of people. Still, she feels like she wants to help her friend if she can.]

That's true. Maybe we can make a list of things and then try to work through it. If you want, I mean. [Because she doesn't want to come across as pushy or demanding, especially when this is more Kairi's thing.] Making barrettes might be fun.

[She sees that wistful expression and offers the other girl a smile. But she's perking up a little at the mention of a sleepover.]

I haven't been to a sleepover in ages! But I used to have them with my best friend before coming here.

[And she's going to take the fact that Kairi looks a bit happier as a good sign. When the subject shifts to hats, Marinette is making a mental list of the things the other girl is saying.]

I think I can manage to come up with something really great. And I can surprise you with it if you'd prefer~

[Kairi's mood does pick up at that point.]

How about... when you surprise me with a hat, we can start planning the sleepover? By then I should be able to take care of some things I've been meaning to catch up on, and can focus on making the party really special!

And then the sleepover can have some of those crafts, too!

[It's a neat idea, different from the previous sleepover too, which was focused on aesthetics of the traditionally-female variety.]

I think that's an amazing idea! It'll give me time to come up with a brilliant design and figure out how to make it happen. I'm actually looking forward to it - the planning, and the sleepover itself.

[She's smiling at that, because it feels like forever since she's done anything so normal.]

That sounds like a lot of fun.

[Kairi's thinking the same thing even if Marinette didn't voice her thoughts - that it's a really nice, normal bonding sort of experience. The last one certainly was, anyway.]

I can't wait! Can you think of anyone else who'd want to help with the planning?

[It's probably silly that she's only started to miss something after having it mentioned, but that's just the way it is.]

Oh! I can ask Adrien if he'd want to help out. I don't know if he's ever planned a party before, but I know he's never been to a sleep over.

[And then she's considering for a moment.]

What about Futaba? She might want to help too~

[Kairi claps her hands together once at Marinette's suggestion.]

You know what! We were talking about video games earlier, her and I! Games you can play as a group!

[She smiles.]

All I'd need is to convince Hajime to get us a big enough TV!

[Marinette just smiles brightly at that.]

I don't know her very well yet, but she reminds me of someone I know back home. And we talked a bit about video games when we met on the day I first arrived here. I think if anyone would know some good ones for groups, it'd be her.

[At least that's the impression she'd gotten. Futaba had seemed pretty well-informed.]

Do you think you can convince her that a big TV is a good idea?

[Kairi laughs and waves her hand dismissively downwards in front of her.]

Absolutely! It wouldn't even really be convincing, either. Hajime's the kind of nice goddess that would let me buy whatever I wanted, I just have to ask. I wouldn't ask for anything bigger than a room anyway.

[So she smiles then, putting her hands behind her back.]

Besides, at least a TV has a lot of uses - including just watching movies!
