Where: Konohanasakuya-hime's temple, assorted locations around the Far Shore
When: October 7th to 9th
What: Add recovers from his experience in the void and suffers the divine wrath of the Heavens.
Warnings: Add being depressing, probably. Will update if needed.

[A - Sakura's Temple]
The days pass by peacefully under Sakura's care. Bit by bit, Add's memories start to trickle back in. There are still gaps and the finer details become hazy at times, but it's enough to understand his own situationโ€”past to present, and all in between. The cause of his unusual condition. The truth of what went on inside the core.

It helps that he knows now this has happened to him before. He can't simply remain in this state, blissfully ignorant and unable to feel his regrets. He has no choice but to pick the pieces up, to move forward.

When he first arrived at Sakura's temple he'd kept to himself, holing up in the room she had given him unless forcibly dragged out for whatever reason. Now, though, he's at least venturing out from time to time on his own, wandering the temple grounds aimlessly and stopping to watch what its other residents might be doing. He's not much for starting a conversation, but he's also completely lacking in any sort of tact or situational awareness. So even if someone is obviously in need of help or in the middle of something potentially awkward, he'll just... stand there. Watching.

At least this is still a better first impression than he'd normally leave.

[B - Various temples and public areas]
Unfortunately, he can't just spend all his time aimlessly relaxing. The damage his experiment caused to the Far Shore didn't go unnoticed by the Heavens. He was permitted a few days of grace to recover, but there's still a high price to pay for his heinous crimes:

An open-ended sentence of community service.

It wouldn't be that bad, except he left behind Dynamo in his temple when they all escaped. And the robed shinki didn't look too impressed when he asked if he could go in to retrieve his machines so he could make them do his punishment for him... he'd have to get by on his own sweat and tears for awhile.

He can be found doing all kinds of odd jobs around the Heavens, cleaning up the parks and roads around the various districts and occasionally wandering onto temple grounds by mistake. More frequently than not, he can also be found catching his breath or sitting down to recover from such strenuous manual labour as raking, walking, and standing completely still. He's really out of shape. On the bright side, he's not doing everything on his own. His shinki, Rin, can usually be found nearby, helping out his god.

Between the two of them, hopefully they can at least get some work done... though sometimes it seems like the mess only gets worse the longer they're there.

[C - Somewhere on the Far Shore]
Emotions are a bit more tricky. They come back in pieces, broken and incomprehensible. Flickers that only leave him frustrated when something sparks them alight, disappearing before he can make any sense of them. But it's not a problem that can't be fixedโ€”he's learned from his first go around that it's not just a random occurrence. If he can create a strong enough source, he can spark that feeling back to life.

Add finds himself drawn to the chrysanthemums, abandoning whatever task he'd been doing to stand in the small fields of flowers. It's not a strong enough feeling to fill his needs, but it's a steady one, and it's something aside from the hollow emptiness in his chest. A warm, soothing feeling, with just a hint of bittersweet nostalgia. It's... a good feeling. Even better than the calming nothingness of the void, somehow.

He lays down in the grass, breathing in the sweet scent and allowing himself to doze off.

... He doesn't really want to leave, though, so he'll probably stay there all night long if someone doesn't tell him to get off their lawn.
