But if this one's been keeping itself hidden so effectively for so long, he doubts it'll show itself easily.]

It's obviously being smarter about it than most ayakashi already, since its voice doesn't track back to one place. Probably a powerful one, but even powerful ones don't always keep themselves hidden as well as this one has.
