What: Juuuuuust waking up from a month long sleep/coma, nothing to see here guys. But, really she's been asleep for a MONTH.
When: October 11th
Where: Starting at Aja's temple, could be in other places.

[She remembers retiring into her temple and meaning to send a message to ask for a Shinki for hire. It was the normal day, investigate more about this place, commune with the planets and creatures nearby and then go back to the temple for standby... it's just that she didn't count on 'standby' to feel this long...

In the stark white sleeping chamber with a single electric plug that goes into the back of her neck and a chair she sits into while 'sleeping'. Her eyes finally open. And so much has happened... nature is off-balance, overrun with Ayakashi and another kind of energy. She can't place it.]

How long have I've been gone?

[No one is there to hear that monotone question, but the rush she takes to take the elevator up and gets out of the temple to only run out into the forest tells a lot about her feelings. Outside the temple is unkempt grass not cut, the flowers filled with weeds... she normally keeps up the grounds since she has no Shinki. It looks like a months growth. A whole month...

She runs out trying to get to the distrubance, not even caring that she could run into others.]

Aaaaaaargh!

[Run into? Or run over? A book lies on the ground, trembling with the indignity of it all, next to the demon minion she'd bowled over as if he weighed nothing.]

[ Obi was taking a break in a tree, sharpening some knives while eating some of the food he brought with him. He was going to take a nap (he may or may not have used NONA1's temple at some point or other for that) later but his thoughts are interrupted when he spots someone rushing in his direction. Though if she can tell that he's there or not he doesn't know.

Once she's close enough, though, he calls out. ]

Hello, Miss! Is something wrong?

[The forest is for all, as it is there for everyone. It's a very Aja-esque thing to believe. So she doesn't mind people using the land for themselves as long as they don't hurt it.

But right now, she isn't thinking about the forest right now.]

There's something... nearby. In the other temples, it's bad. Full of Ayakashi and another thing.

[The android girl looks down, finally noticing the fact she knocked over a demon creature and the book they were carrying. She helps the minion up, not even thinking about the book.]

I'm sorry...

[Up comes the minion, with a vapid look of cheerful obliviousness on his face -- while nearby the book trembles, then begins to aggressively flop.] Hey! Hey! Hey! Send all those apologies and good vibes over HERE, damn it!

[Is that book... talking, it's a bit muffled. But tomes do not usually speak.]

Your book is shaking.

[As if that's the most normal thing in the world. The minion picks it off the ground soon enough.]

[ Her voice sounds very unusual and interesting, how does it do that?

He tilts his head a fraction to the side, curiously observing her. Both because of her herself, and because of her words. ]

There is? I know Master Ronald's temple is haunted but I don't think there was anything else just now.. What's the another thing?

[Flop. The book twists around, thudding heaving onto its back cover. The angry face on it glares up at her, all indignant fury.]

So where's MY freaking hand up and apology?!

[projectsilvergaze]

I am sorry, you have no hands to speak of.

[Listen, she'll apologize later. But for now, Nona is fine with stating the obvious in her monotone voice.]

[A slight voice filter, she isn't human see?]

Something from another world... another dimension. It's just darkness...

YOU'RE the one who's supposed to offer ME a hand!

[The book flops about angrily, like a landed fish -- his anger really isn't helping him concentrate on anything, like floating back up into the air.]

And I am sorry for that. You see, books don't normally speak.

[Although with her lack of emotion in her voices and actions, it certainly doesn't sound sincere.]

[Abruptly, the minion she'd bowled over leans in with a manic grin.]

And knowing is half the battle!


...What the hell?! Get that outta here!

[As the minion pushes the logo away, Zetta glares up at the shovey woman.] ANYWAY, are you going to pick me up or not?!

[If Nona could laugh, she would. But she picks him up as soon as he asks, wiping away some of the dust off his back jacket. She tilts her head.]

Who are you?

[The Sacred Tome is strikingly heavy without being unmanageable, as befits a tome with infinite pages condensed into finite space.]

The name's Zetta, and I'm an Overlord!

[It's an interesting tome, she wonders what is inside his pages, but seeing as she knocked him over earlier, it would be sort of rude.]

Zetta, an overlord. How is one an overlord when you are a book?

It's an earned title. A little setback like this doesn't mean I'm any less strong or my mana power is weaker. I'm still the most badass freaking Overlord in the entire cosmos!

[ He doesn't know anything about non humans or voice filters. ]

I'm guessing you're not talking about the kind of darkness that appears in dreams. Or is that a poetic way of referring to the ayakashi?

It was Ayakashi, I am sure of it. I don't think I dream.

[There's a Philip K. Dick reference somewhere.]

Mana... what is this 'Mana' you speak of?

[The book seems to be very confident.]

Oh, uh, that's not easy to explain. Call it the energy you need to change reality?

[ Unfortunately he has no idea who that is. ]

Maybe you just don't remember that you dream, some people don't. And if it's an ayakashi you could hunt it.

I'm not really sure about that. I'm not human.

[She just has a humanoid appearance, is all.]

But yes, my ability to track Ayakashi is strong, that's why I felt it.

So it's magic? I do have some of that power.

What -- no! Magic is part of reality the same as everything else! It has laws and stuff. Mana power is reality!

[ Well, she gives off a different feel and smell from most people and she sounds different but it's not like he knows a lot about non-humans. ]

But you don't have anyone to hunt them down with, right now?

[ It's a complete guess, since shinki might be in any sort of vessel form, but he's got a gut feeling that that might be the case at the moment. ]
