[With all those yellow flowers around, Snow definitely feels the safety and serenity they provide. And hey, if they make you feel safe, maybe they do make you safe! And if they make you safe, then there's only one thing to do!

Thus, the big man can be seen carting armloads of the Chrysanthemums to Serah's temple. Once there, he will arrange them in as tasteful a manner as he can, helping decorate the place and giving it a bit of warmth. He's an early riser, so plenty of time to get to this before Serah manages to crawl her way out of bed, right?

That said, this is Snow, so if he's met on the way he's happy to stop and chat, or even detour and make an extra delivery. Plenty of flowers to go around and all that, right?]

[That's a lot of yellow chrysanthemums in the arms of the guy who's toting them off along the path. It's enough of a shock to stop Tsuzuki dead in his tracks, blinking.]

Uh.

You didn't pick all of those, did you?

[Is there some totally bare garden between here and wherever the guy came from now?!]

[The denuded garden is looming larger and larger in his mind. The guy seems so nice, but.

Tsuzuki can't help but feel a pang for whoever takes care of Heaven's landscaping. There must be somebody, right? It can't all be magical.]

Yeah that's right, there are a ton of 'em. Want some?

I... I think someone probably planted those!

[It's weird, though, just being around them does seem to cheer him up. Maybe it's the color? Is yellow supposed to be a cheerful color?]

Maybe just one.

[Snow hands over a flower without pause]

Really? You think? I hadn't seen anyone, they just showed up so I figured they were wild. I can save some seeds and replant 'em I guess.

Oh, well, they look like a domestic chrysanthemum to me -- not one of the really finicky varieties, of course. [He's turning the flower over in his hands, considering it, and brightening as he does. After a moment, he tucks it into the undone top button of his flowered shirt, where it clashes violently with the shirt's green and orange blossoms, and looks up with a grin.]

But they're already picked, so spilled milk, right? Are you giving them to somebody?

You can tell by looking? That's awesome!

[He straightens a bit, adjusting his bundle]

Yeah, I'm setting these up at my god's temple. Want to make it feel safe and all that.

[sweetdeath]

Sure, wild ones have thinner petals.

[If the guy's sunny demeanor hadn't won Tsuzuki over already, that motive would do it. He positively beams.]

I, uh, like flowers-- anyway! Hey, that's sweet. Does she like chrysanthemums?

I think so. Pretty sure, anyway.

[Should he know that? He can't remember. Oh well]

[She won't presume to think herself worthy of interrupting anyone on a task, but that... That sure is a lot of flowers. What.]

U-um, excuse me...? [She squeaks out a greeting, looking a little terrified already at having spoken up]

[He greets her jovially and sort of lurches toward her, flowers and all]

Eep! [She jumps back in surprise, then winces at herself for doing so.]

U-Um, sorry, but, um... [She wavers over which question to ask first here] N-not that it's any of my b-business, um, pl-please tell me to just sh-shut up if you want, but, um...

What... Are you doing?

Bet she'll appreciate it, then. [And he'd been right! If somebody's bringing giant armfuls of flowers to their god, it's because she's a goddess. Only stands to reason.]

I was just taking a walk, so if you need any help setting them up...?

[And, besides, that way maybe he can make sure this guy doesn't inadvertently pick anybody's garden.]

Hey, it's OK! I'm taking these to my goddess's temple! They seem to make people feel safe, so I wanna have them around.

Wow. Okay... okay. So, you'll need a lot of help getting them set up! Got it! Do you have, uh. A theme or something?

[This is going to be an epic flower arrangement. It's gotta have a theme, or else the message may wind up being "Everything is yellow."

You need themes for this stuff? Man, this is complicated. Uh, I dunno, how about "safety" or "belonging"?

[She pauses, surprised.]

Do you... like your goddess that much? [She sounds curious and surprised, but not judging.] That's really sweet of you.

Yeah, she's really great. I've been fixing up her temple but I thought these might be a good touch. Y'know, make it all... home-y or whatever.
