Dokugakuji is all set to take another long walk following the kid, but as the kid makes it up half a block - well within Doku's vision - he suddenly sees the kid take off. At first, he's worried, and so he runs out of Shinji's line of sight for a few feet to keep up with the kid.

Only then he can see another few blocks down the way and just outside the nearest train station, there's a teen girl waving in their direction. After a few huffs and puffs from the kid, the boy waves back too. So Doku comes to a stop, waiting for Shinji to catch up.

Standing there, he crosses his arms and smiles fondly. As Shinji joins him again, Doku jerks his chin in the boy's direction. "How 'bout that. Must be an older sister. I bet she got asked to watch over him too."
