Suzaku had been aware of where Edge was, though he had been outwardly focussed on the game. At Edge's gesture he went over, looking interested in what was going on. He's not the only one so hopefully his less than stellar acting went unnoticed.

He stood near Edge, though he didn't look at him, trying not to draw attention to him at all.
