What: Fun times with laser tag, the arcade, food, and onsen at the end! A mingle log for people to just have fun after everything that's happened. Feel free to make your own top levels and just interact with people. Might be a good way to meet some new CR too!

Round 2



Welcome to Round 2! The place to go when one wishes to forget responsibilities, stuff their faces, and legally shoot people! From laser tag to virtual reality to classic arcade games. A place for fun for those with physical prowess to those who prefer to hide behind the safety of their screens. Let your inner kid loose in this mostly judgement free zone. Mostly, because children cant be pretty brutal.

Laser Tag


Whether it be 2 players against each other or full on teams, put on your vests and charge up your guns! Players will be lead into a chamber where they can find their equipment and choose which color to swear allegiance to. Will you choose the pink, blue, purple, green, or white team?



All teams have the same equipment: a vest, a gun attached to it, and an armband. Your armband will display your warrior name, as well as the number of points you’ve accumulated. It will also flash the handle of anyone who has successfully taken a shot at you, in case you want to hunt them down after the game for revenge. Flashing targets are located on a player’s back, shoulders, and chest. The chest will get you 10 points as it is the smallest target. The shoulders will give you 5, and the back will get you 3, because that’s just sneaky. Get to your opponent’s base and aim for for the marker. If you manage to keep it in your team’s color by the end of the game, you win!

After listening to the game rules, the doors will slide open to a pitch black room, glow in the dark spray paint covering the maze of walls inside. A fog machine lets out a continuous stream of smoke, in case your vision wasn’t hampered enough. Watch your step! There are slopes and steps, that can lead you to higher ground or a place to hide. The walls have openings to provide cover and a prime position to attack. When you exit, you can see the rankings on the tv screen to see who earned the most points for bragging rights. 

Please refrain from physically attacking people with either yourself or your gun. Other than that, take down your opponent however you can. Most importantly, have fun!

Arcade Games



For those that don’t want to get too sweaty or would like something less stressful, check out the arcade! They’ve got kid friendly games like wacman and super bario, and games for the older crowd like Tennant Evil. Try to win some cute but strangely designed stuffed toys in the crane machine or take some purikura. Collect as many tickets as you can and claim a prize from the booth. Please be courteous of other guests and keep in mind that their are children around. So please, watch your language. Or else :)

Food

Seems even the restaurants are into games. Up for a challenge? Can you eat a giant plate of barbecued meat? A 12 inch deep dish pizza? A bowl or ramen that can fit five regular bowls in it? Take on each restaurant's heaviest meal and score some free food! Maybe you’ll even get your face on the wall of fame. Don’t worry, they have regular sized meals too. They’ve got ice cream and crepes for dessert, as well as some very instagram worthy bubble tea drinks.

Onsen

On a more relaxing note, slip into the warm, healing waters of the onsen. Robes, towels, all your bathing needs will be provided. There is a divider between the male and female sections, but you can still hold a conversation with the other side if you speak loud enough. Chat with your friends or even strangers. What better way to get to know someone than by washing their back?

An area is available to have footbaths regardless of gender, as well as common room with massage chairs to sit back and relax in. Have some tea or milk while you're at it!

[ He jumps onto the position and slaps "random" on the song choice striking a pose soon after. It will be shuffling until the other player clicks "start" ]

I'll be waiting for you at the top-score mountain! [ He challenges right back jokingly ]

[Apparently incapable of just stepping onto the machine like a normal person, Dust hops over the back support rail to land on the dance pad, tagging in and stopping the whirl in one stylish move. Rising, he shrugs his shoulders, shifting his cloak back so he can raise his hands for balance or slick moves.]

[He's not allowed to look bad at this. He won't permit it!]

[ If there could be additional dramatic sudden backlight there should be one. Complete with "a new challenger appears" or something like that. ]

This is going to be interesting.

[ Dust knows what he's doing, he got right moves and all that. That means their duel is definitely going to be a nice show- IF ONLY PEOPLE PAID ATTENTION TO THEM AT ALL.

But hey they can have the fun even without the audience. Caster relaxes his posture, neck snap left, right, then he stretches himself- looks more like he's prepared to fight but when he gets into the position it's with a fluidity of a dance.

SONG START! ]

[Dust rolls his shoulders, since the neck-crack thing got taken. When the first opening notes of the song roll out, he twitches his fingers in time with the beat, letting it sink in as the arrows race up the screen -- then steps into quick motion as the first ones touch the top. He doesn't know this particular song, so it's all combat reflexes driving him, a honed ability to analyze and react that normally gets him through fights but works just as well here.]

[Who needs an audience? The challenge is what drives him.]

[ The song is equally unknown to Caster, he's been uncovering the joys of pop culture bit by bit, but that's not enough to get hang of all the hits and flops of recent decades.

He did saw some of the music videos though, so instead of just following the arrows and working with just legs he makes it into some impromptu-dancing maneuvers. When there is a two left-right arrows combos incoming, he finishes it with a jump, spin in air, and landing facing the very opposite of the machine. ]

That's right, that's the way to do it!

[ Yeah, but this way he can't see the next section incoming... ]

[Oh, we're going for style too, huh?]

[Dust takes his own advantage -- the next section starts with three quick steps into two held ones, so Dust stamps out the first quarter-notes hard enough that the rebounding kick of his legs flips him into the air to slap down his hands on the two opposite arrows that he was supposed to jump to. His legs swing around above him, keeping momentum for the quick flip he needs to do when the notes end... and meanwhile his hat doesn't even twitch from being upside-down, having been through far far worse in its time.]

[ Caster loses the beginning of that section as he turns around with a jump, but he also gets to see Dust's spectacular performance. He lets out a hearty appreciative laugh, trying to out-do each other is a good fun.

He picks up what he lost on getting the notes hits perfectly - unnatural reflexes and all that -, but there isn't much that he can do to beat that dance. When the game is over he gives Dust a good, strong pat in the back. ]

You gotta tell me where you learned to dance like that, Shaggy. C'mon, you won in style, I owe you a drink.

[ Points doesn't matter as much as style ]

Shaggy?! [Dust nearly jumps when the man slaps his back, unused to casual physical gestures like that and inherently on edge because, well, he's Dust.]

[But he won't say no to the drink.]

A friend showed me how to do this. We... got kind of competitive about it. As we do.

[ Congrats, you got a nickname. There's a bar section in the arcade, with variety of drinks, mostly non-alcoholic beverages but- ]

Root beer for two! [ That's always an option, Caster slams his order and makes sure that they will actually do get their order, as opposed to it being forgotten about ] It sounds like there is whole story to it, you gotta tell me more.

[ He's very easy-going person ]

[Somehow Dust has gotten sucked along with this, and it makes part of him twitchy. But courtesy and decency keep him going, no matter how out-of-place he feels.] There's really not much more to it. My friend introduced me to arcades because I didn't know them, and we both ended up being good at that sort of game.
