What: Fun times with laser tag, the arcade, food, and onsen at the end! A mingle log for people to just have fun after everything that's happened. Feel free to make your own top levels and just interact with people. Might be a good way to meet some new CR too!

Round 2



Welcome to Round 2! The place to go when one wishes to forget responsibilities, stuff their faces, and legally shoot people! From laser tag to virtual reality to classic arcade games. A place for fun for those with physical prowess to those who prefer to hide behind the safety of their screens. Let your inner kid loose in this mostly judgement free zone. Mostly, because children cant be pretty brutal.

Laser Tag


Whether it be 2 players against each other or full on teams, put on your vests and charge up your guns! Players will be lead into a chamber where they can find their equipment and choose which color to swear allegiance to. Will you choose the pink, blue, purple, green, or white team?



All teams have the same equipment: a vest, a gun attached to it, and an armband. Your armband will display your warrior name, as well as the number of points you’ve accumulated. It will also flash the handle of anyone who has successfully taken a shot at you, in case you want to hunt them down after the game for revenge. Flashing targets are located on a player’s back, shoulders, and chest. The chest will get you 10 points as it is the smallest target. The shoulders will give you 5, and the back will get you 3, because that’s just sneaky. Get to your opponent’s base and aim for for the marker. If you manage to keep it in your team’s color by the end of the game, you win!

After listening to the game rules, the doors will slide open to a pitch black room, glow in the dark spray paint covering the maze of walls inside. A fog machine lets out a continuous stream of smoke, in case your vision wasn’t hampered enough. Watch your step! There are slopes and steps, that can lead you to higher ground or a place to hide. The walls have openings to provide cover and a prime position to attack. When you exit, you can see the rankings on the tv screen to see who earned the most points for bragging rights. 

Please refrain from physically attacking people with either yourself or your gun. Other than that, take down your opponent however you can. Most importantly, have fun!

Arcade Games



For those that don’t want to get too sweaty or would like something less stressful, check out the arcade! They’ve got kid friendly games like wacman and super bario, and games for the older crowd like Tennant Evil. Try to win some cute but strangely designed stuffed toys in the crane machine or take some purikura. Collect as many tickets as you can and claim a prize from the booth. Please be courteous of other guests and keep in mind that their are children around. So please, watch your language. Or else :)

Food

Seems even the restaurants are into games. Up for a challenge? Can you eat a giant plate of barbecued meat? A 12 inch deep dish pizza? A bowl or ramen that can fit five regular bowls in it? Take on each restaurant's heaviest meal and score some free food! Maybe you’ll even get your face on the wall of fame. Don’t worry, they have regular sized meals too. They’ve got ice cream and crepes for dessert, as well as some very instagram worthy bubble tea drinks.

Onsen

On a more relaxing note, slip into the warm, healing waters of the onsen. Robes, towels, all your bathing needs will be provided. There is a divider between the male and female sections, but you can still hold a conversation with the other side if you speak loud enough. Chat with your friends or even strangers. What better way to get to know someone than by washing their back?

An area is available to have footbaths regardless of gender, as well as common room with massage chairs to sit back and relax in. Have some tea or milk while you're at it!

[Archer raises a brow and smirks at him, catching him easily and pulling up a bit so they're chest to chest now.]

Appraising all of your shinki at once? How scandalous. [he jokes lightly. Truth to be told the idea has an appeal, and having their own onsen would be perfect. A long, warm soak after a hunt or a spar - sauna is nice, but nothing beats a real hot spring.]

[ Aaand now he's caught. You can have this win, that's okay. Because Archer's arms are a surprisingly comfortable place to hang out. ]

I meant unlimited access to such luxury- [ Uh, huh, sure ] -but now that you mentioned those other options.

[ Well ]

I'd bet a cold alcohol tastes amazing in such warm setting. [ Is that scandalous enough? ]

[Caster is surprisingly snuggly once he's caught, that's true. Archer isn't complaining, quite on the contrary, he's holding Caster close and is just as snuggly.]

It does, and you have a luxury of floating tray to enjoy it. [warm water also does wonders to one's libido and provides some privacy. Scandalous enough for now? You bet.]

[futhark]

[ This temple surely is Not Safe For Work, or even for life. But man, floating tray, food or drink? ]

Shit, you're spoiling me. I wouldn't even think of such luxury but now- [ He craves it. It would be great to pick up some snack. He turns around and effectively using Archer's form as a backrest. ]

Maybe there will be a prayer in such place once again. [ They could resolve the problem and reward themselves with a expanded onsen experience ]

[This temple is an eyecandy gallore, each dangerous in a different way. Think of how much you can oggle with permission in onsen, oh yes.]

I've heard that gods can alter their temples if they really want to, so perhaps if you wish for one hard enough it will appear. [Archer teases, letting Caster make himself comfortable on his lap. It's such a nice position, and he can rest his chin on Caster's shoulder.] If not we can always take a trip.

[futhark]

Yeah, I heard that too. [ Literally today, literally like an hour or two ago. Still counts! ] But trip sounds nice...

[ He says as he taps at the surface of water, splashing it a bit. Head moving in the same rhythm, a remnant of the dumb dance game, that has such dumb music too, but if it isn't fun- Then suddenly he stops ]

Quick, tell me what's your best feature.

[ Might sound random, but he just remembered what Ginia asked him of ]

My best-- [Archer repeats surprised, then catches himself and grins.] I think what you're currently sitting on is my best feature. May I inquire what brought it on?

[He's not sure if he wants to know the answer, to be honest. Caster is unpredictable at best. Perhaps at his worst, depending on point of view.]

[futhark]

[ A R C H E R ! ]

Wow, you sure are humble. [ Or trying to kill him with laughter. He did not expect it to go there so fast ] But are you really sure I should tell Ginia that your dick is your best feature?

[ Yeah, you dick, he was trying to do something nice for both of you. ]

[Okay, that's not the answer Archer expects. Because, seriously?]

It's either my dick or my cooking. Which do you prefer? Besides my ability to create swords at will, of course.

[...that's not going to deter him enough to behave, though.]

It was purely physical feature question.

[ So no cooking. And the D answer while funny is not going to fly. She might get the wrong idea and stuff. Which probably won't be much wrong anyway, ugh. ]

But if you're like this, I guess my answer will be that at least you shower very regularly?

[ Duh ]

That's a norm in modern world. [Archer sighs and shakes his head.] I suppose I'm handsome enough if it counts.

[Seriously, what else can he answer? His willingness to serve or to give his all? Archer isn't sure if there's anothing remotely good left in him. He needs a distraction.]

What's your best feature?

[ Handsome is boring because of how general it is, but fine, he'll work with it. ]

Mine? [ Seriously? He stretches his arms forward, even pulls a feet out of the water as he talks ] Perhaps this gorgeous face, a body of a young god, a pair of strong, gentle arms... [ At least his tone makes it clear that he's joking and not being serious. He's just going for that over-the-top boast, to show how varied answer Archer could give. But maybe he'll answer the question too. So he turns just a bit to have their gazes connect ]

But all that aside, I think the eyes are the best of my features.

[It's a bit of unexpected getting a serious answer for once.]

Hn. [despite that, Archer raises his hand to touch briefly Caster's cheek.] Your eyes are very striking and unusual. Full of character, fierce, just like a warning of danger right ahead.

[Is that a compliment? Yes, it is.]

[ It sure is equally surprising to get a genuine compliment in return. That puts him in a thoughtful mood. Sure it's different to run around as allies, instead of enemies. But even with this change, Archer still can be insufferable. But probably, so does he. ]

My mother said these were my father's eyes. Took me a long while to figure that one out, because Sualtam sure did not have ones like these.

[boneofsword]

[Archer leans slightly forward so their foreheads touch. It's an awkward position, but he wants that bit of contact to underline his words.]

I think you got your best qualities from her.

[He's trying to not ruin the moment, knowing well how bad his smartassy remarks can be.]

[ The easiest way to unlock the dere side is to apparently compliment important women in his life. OF COURSE, his mentor was awesome! OF COURSE his wife was amazing! OBVIOUSLY his mother was badass ]

She'd still outrace me if chariots are involved.

[ He closes his eyes and just- stays like this. No snarky or antagonistic reply for once. Congrats. Until- ]

You've been reading on me again? [ Or is it just something that he knows. Myth nerd ]

[The funny fact is that Archer spend a good part of his life in company of strong, courageous women, so he shares Caster's fondness for the type.]

That's something I remember. [myth nerd indeed, with all those tidbits of information Archer has no idea how or why he does know it. He's loathe to break the moment, their closeness being oddly warm and relaxing.]

[futhark]

[ Yeah, speaking about women- ]

Hey, what you think about Ginia?

[ A sudden subject change. And also a break of the moment, because reluctantly, Caster rolls over from his almost comfortable spot, and sits next to Archer instead. Might lean on his shoulder a bit too ]

She got her eye on you.

[ Both of his shinki would make a nice couple, if someone asked him. But he's not running that far ahead ]

[boneofsword]

[That's not what Archer expects to hear. He blinks and stares at Caster a bit dubiously.]

She's courageous, a good company, and attractive. [and obviously having a severe trauma from a lifetime of being what she's been shaped into by others. Archer thinks that Ginia deserves better, not someone like him.]

Are you trying to set us up?

[futhark]

Are you opposed to me doing that? [ The humorous tone in his voice makes it easy to just brush off those words as a joke. But indeed, he is gauging Archer's reaction. "Just because it would be a nice ship" aside, Archer turned out to... have a surprisingly soft side at times.

The caretaker and butler is one thing, but how he genuinely cares about people even if he tries to hide it is nice. And then there is the Thing between them that is really weird to figure out. Drunken HELL WHY NOT, was probably not the smartest decision, but it's being followed by a case of death and following nora'ing, had a lasting effect, even if he'd rather brush it off. Frustration is there, annoyance is there. But so is understanding and camaraderie at surprising times.

In a way he did learn to trust this guy- maybe not trust him to listen to orders, but trust that he will do something proving ultimately beneficial for the whole pack.

It's a hunch, but Ginia seems the same. And while in some aspects he's like him, fine with keeping things without commitment, friendly but also without baggage, she could also benefit from having someone actually take care of her. Archer is good with that, and he is seeking something a bit more involved.

No, I'm not. [Archer isn't sure if he's more amused or exasperated. That's so Caster to break the moment to hook him up with Ginia.] Just be careful, with what you're saying I may start thinking you're trying to find a gentle way to dump me.

[It's all told in rather joking tone, with Archer not being entirely serious. He's aware how quick Caster is in turning most serious question into a lighthearted joke.]

[futhark]

[ Is this really how he sounds like? Huh. ]

What are you talking about- [ Have a friendly elbow under the rib to continue with joking tone ] Do you really think I'd be gentle with ya?

[ He'd be direct that's for sure, but nah he wouldn't make a thing like this cruel or painful. "It's not working out" isn't maybe the softest or gentlest way, but it's the most effective. ]

But seriously speaking, It's just a reminder that it's okay. [ Things are 'open' aren't they? ] So go ahead and sweep her off her feet, if you feel like.

[Caster gets a playful elbow in ribs back.]

I'm well aware that gentle isn't your style. At least not with guys. [Archer closes one eye as he delivers the second part. He knows Caster won't be cruel.]

Mhm, I took her on a date already.

[futhark]

[ I'm trying to sleep but here, have a tag ]

I've heard so. Wasn't sure if it was a job recruitment or a date- [ Last time you took someone to that ice cream parlor he ended working there. It wasn't a bad time, too. Shame that some things threw a wrench in all the plans.

Caster starts moving across the pool trying to find a more comfortable spot but he returns eventually ]

Geez, stop with that serious face, aren't you happy for her attention? [ Had he something to drink before? Is that Lancer's fault? Or maybe that's a different timeline, and he's just being a shit and teasing because he's bored. ]

[boneofsword]

[Archer catches Caster and pulls him close. Seriously, it was such a nice moment, good job breaking it.]

Right now I'd rather have more of your attention. [he says seriously. While he's content with what he can have, despite their upgraded relationship status such moments are surprisingly rare. Sure, Caster is a cuddler and likes being affectionate in bed even if most of the time they just sleep, but that's all.]
