What: Fun times with laser tag, the arcade, food, and onsen at the end! A mingle log for people to just have fun after everything that's happened. Feel free to make your own top levels and just interact with people. Might be a good way to meet some new CR too!

Round 2



Welcome to Round 2! The place to go when one wishes to forget responsibilities, stuff their faces, and legally shoot people! From laser tag to virtual reality to classic arcade games. A place for fun for those with physical prowess to those who prefer to hide behind the safety of their screens. Let your inner kid loose in this mostly judgement free zone. Mostly, because children cant be pretty brutal.

Laser Tag


Whether it be 2 players against each other or full on teams, put on your vests and charge up your guns! Players will be lead into a chamber where they can find their equipment and choose which color to swear allegiance to. Will you choose the pink, blue, purple, green, or white team?



All teams have the same equipment: a vest, a gun attached to it, and an armband. Your armband will display your warrior name, as well as the number of points you’ve accumulated. It will also flash the handle of anyone who has successfully taken a shot at you, in case you want to hunt them down after the game for revenge. Flashing targets are located on a player’s back, shoulders, and chest. The chest will get you 10 points as it is the smallest target. The shoulders will give you 5, and the back will get you 3, because that’s just sneaky. Get to your opponent’s base and aim for for the marker. If you manage to keep it in your team’s color by the end of the game, you win!

After listening to the game rules, the doors will slide open to a pitch black room, glow in the dark spray paint covering the maze of walls inside. A fog machine lets out a continuous stream of smoke, in case your vision wasn’t hampered enough. Watch your step! There are slopes and steps, that can lead you to higher ground or a place to hide. The walls have openings to provide cover and a prime position to attack. When you exit, you can see the rankings on the tv screen to see who earned the most points for bragging rights. 

Please refrain from physically attacking people with either yourself or your gun. Other than that, take down your opponent however you can. Most importantly, have fun!

Arcade Games



For those that don’t want to get too sweaty or would like something less stressful, check out the arcade! They’ve got kid friendly games like wacman and super bario, and games for the older crowd like Tennant Evil. Try to win some cute but strangely designed stuffed toys in the crane machine or take some purikura. Collect as many tickets as you can and claim a prize from the booth. Please be courteous of other guests and keep in mind that their are children around. So please, watch your language. Or else :)

Food

Seems even the restaurants are into games. Up for a challenge? Can you eat a giant plate of barbecued meat? A 12 inch deep dish pizza? A bowl or ramen that can fit five regular bowls in it? Take on each restaurant's heaviest meal and score some free food! Maybe you’ll even get your face on the wall of fame. Don’t worry, they have regular sized meals too. They’ve got ice cream and crepes for dessert, as well as some very instagram worthy bubble tea drinks.

Onsen

On a more relaxing note, slip into the warm, healing waters of the onsen. Robes, towels, all your bathing needs will be provided. There is a divider between the male and female sections, but you can still hold a conversation with the other side if you speak loud enough. Chat with your friends or even strangers. What better way to get to know someone than by washing their back?

An area is available to have footbaths regardless of gender, as well as common room with massage chairs to sit back and relax in. Have some tea or milk while you're at it!

[ Doesn't it always happen, though? "But we were having a moment here..!!" Caster catches that disappointment and realizes that oops, it probably wasn't the time. ]

Yeah, sorry- [ He's caught now, there is no escape- there is only finding a way to somehow sit close and in a comfortable way. ] It's not exactly private so...

[ Anyone can walk on them like this, and it's tough to gauge Archer. On the one hand, he doesn't seem the type to go for public displays of affection- on the other hand, thanks for traumatizing the princess, so yeah he will go for PDA if there is something he could use as a serious justification ]

But if you want to risk gossip I'm game. [ Forehead touching, deep staring in each other eyes- too bad it's a spark of challenge and mischief in the red pair ]

[Caster is just being himself, and while Archer considers him an annoying tease, thise behavior somehow grew on him. Like mold. So he playfully kisses the tip of his nose.]

To risk gossip we'd have to act scandalous enough. [he counters with amusement. Bantering is a familiar routine after all; Archer has a hard time imagining Caster saying something cute or complimenting him. Well, perhaps if he's drunk enough.]

[futhark]

[ It's so sad because it's mostly true. But perhaps with right circumstances, involving alcohol wouldn't be necessary. ]

Trust me this is scandalous enough. [ Most of the onsen visitors are not sitting so close on each other okay. If someone wants to get a wrong idea they just might. Especially since Caster's arms are now around Archer's broad shoulders ]

So, shall we talk "attention"?

[ He gets a feeling he might have failed a bit somewhere along the way if it's being brought up. Oops. ]

[boneofsword]

Hmph. [despite the derisive sound Archer's lips quirk upwards into a gentler, more honest version of his smirk. It almost can be called a smile.

The position is indeed scandalous enough, and Archer only adds to that by locking his hands around Caster's waist.]

Exactly this kind of attention, yes. I don't mind your lack of concept of personal space. [which is as close as he is to say that he's not adverse to sudden hugs or Caster looking over his shoulder while he cooks.] Being boyfriends is like being lovers, with affectionate gestures included. [or making cutesy food.]

[futhark]

[ Is that Explain Like You're Five moment? ]

I... know that. [ Or does he? He knocks his forehead against Archer with just a little more force then he should, and then buries his face in his neck instead. ] Geez, I get it, I get it, it's my turn to take you somewhere.

[ Ginia also hit his head - metaphorically - for not taking her to a date either. So he failed on both fronts. It's easy to treat them all as a pack, brothers- and sister-in-arms. Does he fail at actual commitment? m-maybe. ]

[Good thing that Archer is durable so no concussion for him from that not-so-loving bump. The next moment makes him forgive Caster immediately at least right now. Having his lap and arms full of cuddly boyfriend is the best, and it shows in the content feel on the god-shinki line.]

Mmhm yes, that's the concept of dating. Spending time together, having fun, making memories. A date doesn't have to consist of taking the other to a restaurant or the cinema. It can be a walk on the pier or a visit to amusement park.

[Unless Caster wants to be one of Those Assholes nitpicking on fight scenes in any movie.]

[ He knows, he knows all that!!!! But geh, if he knows then why- stuff happened, he was out of commission for weeks. Then stuff happened again. Excuses, excuses. Good thing he can hide by nuzzling Archer's neck, it would be annoying to show his face right now. ]

Right- [ He was too content with just spending time together with everyone in the temple, and Archer ended feeling kind of neglect? Too casual ] More "us" time to have, I'll do something about this.

[ He likes being used a pillow, or cuddled to. But sometimes, sometimes having someone to use as a pillow isn't that bad. ]

Archer, what is that what would you want? [ From "us." They never really get to talk that. He died, they fought after the return, and soon there were other things- battles, Ginia entered their life, then the forest and long sleep ] And don't give me a crap answer like "what would you want to give."

[What does he want for himself? Archer has considered it before pursuing Caster, but afterwards-- it's been fine with getting Caster back and those bits of closeness he got for himself. As time passed it stopped being enough, to the point that he's had started to wonder what exactly their relationship status does mean to Caster.]

I'm selfish enough to want you all for myself from time to time. [he says finally, resting his cheek on Caster's hair.] Like right now, for example.

[They may be in the public onsen, but so far no one has tried to disturb them. Moments like these are the most precious memories that Archer cherishes.]

That's so simple, stupid.

[ Funnily enough, he and Ginia ended running into a small conversation about "BUT WHAT THE ARCHER WANTS"sometime before. Not what he wants so he can make other people safe or happy, but what he actually wants. This might be the closest to an answer he can get.

He lets his hand run on Archer's shoulder, sliding down onto his back, tracing all the muscles under the skin. Then he puts more pressure in a tense point between the shoulder blade and spine ]

Mhmm, should I give you a message later? Seems you can't relax even in the warm bath.

[ Or maybe they should just- stay longer within it. He wouldn't mind, even if the temperature is really high and he feels like he's melting. ]

[boneofsword]

[Archer gives a soft exhale at the caress. It's very selfish to want a bit more, to think of things he shouldn't-- but Caster is a warm weight on his lap. Perhaps a bit too warm, in fact.]

It sounds perfect. [he admits, allowing that content, warm and fuzzy feels, shaded with a hint of worry.] Aren't you too hot?

Mhhm? Only now you've noticed? I thought that's what had drawn you to me. [ Caster turns the concern into a flirty joke. "Yes, I am some hot shit", kind of grin shows on his face. ]

[ But soon after he drops it and so he wonders. ]

Maybe I should use a rune, or what.

[ The bath is hot, yes. And maybe there is an upper limit how long one is allowed to sit in it. ]

[boneofsword]

Do it. [Archer nudges him gently.] For thirty minutes in you need fifteen minutes out of hot springs to not overheat. How long have you been here?

[He is worried, no lie. But instead of dragging Caster out he opts for asking first.]

[futhark]

Let's just say that longer than that... [ But he's a Servant, he's tough, those rules do not apply to them, right? On the other hand, physical incarnation means all these normal body rules he tends to forget. He takes Archer hand suddenly and puts Archer's index finger to his own forehead ]

I'm borrowing this. [ He says as he guides his hand to write a rune on his forehead. They work if he writes them with a stick, with a brush, with a pen- so why not with someone else's finger? ]

[boneofsword]

[That's sudden and surprising, but once Archer realizes what exactly Caster is doing with his hand he starts to chuckle.]

I can't say you're not being creative. [writing the rune by yourself vs writing it using your lover's finger instead of a stick. Not to mention the hillarity of his earlier statement.

He can feel the tingle of magic and cooling effect of the rune briefly, aware that the heat radiating from Caster fades. Archers sighs with relief.]

[futhark]

[ Caster presses his - now definitely cooler - forehead against Archer's palm. ]

It still probably means I should get out of here quickly.

[ A shame ]

[boneofsword]

Hn. [Archer gathers him into arms and stands up, not caring much about nakedness. He carries Caster out of the hot water, putting him on his feet and steadying once they're out.]

A bit of alcohol may help you cool faster. [he's more concerned with Caster than looking for discarded towel.]

[futhark]

[ Unlocked that mode again, protective Archer. He doesn't know what to think about it so instead of thinking he just goes with it. The help is appreciated, complaining about it would be petty ]

A dunk of cold water would work as well. [ Not that he would say no to the alcohol ] Next to here there is a relax area with those sun loungers.

[ Let's go there! Is what he wants to say, but in reality... ]

We'll need towels there though.

[boneofsword]

Keep still. [Archer almost rolls his eyes, but what he wants to say is 'don't keel over'. He's fast, though, grabbing two towels from a nearby bench and offering one to Caster. Overprotective mode on he hovers nearby Caster, ready to help or catch him if necessary. Archer makes sure he's seated securely before he goes away for a moment to return with two chilled beer cans.]

Here. They only have local beer here.

[futhark]

Heey, that's good enough! [ Caster grins and- puts the can to his head. Oh yes the rune is working this is just working better. ]

Months after I still keep discovering the limits of this form. Things do work differently. [ He still can't regain his magical energy alone, but losing it doesn't kill him. His body is physical, no assuming spirit form for him, but on the other hand, he can teleport. He can sleep, and feels tired, but the dreaming only of his past like any other Servant stays.

Which suddenly make him wonder. Does it mean Archer and Lancer dream of what happened here in the Far Shore? He doesn't ask that aloud but suddenly he keeps just staring at Archer in silence. ]

[boneofsword]

It's only logical, since our vessels here adhere to this world's rules. [Archer shrugs as he takes a seat on the next recliner. He's not really overheated, but it gives him an excuse to hang out with Caster.

He does notice that stare and raises a brow.]

What's up?

[futhark]

[ The answer should be "nothing", but he's not that good with keeping his mouth shut ]

What do you dream about? [ He asks suddenly, related to his earlier musings. Since they are on the weird Servant physiology and all. ]

[boneofsword]

Huh. [Archer pauses with beer raised to his mouth. He thinks a moment longer before giving a half-hearted shrug.]

I don't remember any dreams after waking up, though I surely must have been dreaming. [he dismisses it as one of the shinki peculiarities. On the other hand Caster deserves an answer.] I don't think shinki remember their dreams. It's just like with memories, we're not supposed to remember.

[futhark]

I see. Nevermind then. [ Caster makes an agreeing hum as he turns his attention to the roof. He can't say anything more, while he's pretty sure that shinki do dream, but Archer seems to be aware his would be mostly made of memories. ]

[Archer meanwhile takes a sip of his beer. It's chilly, a good contrast to how he feels after the onsen.

Suddenly he reaches out to feel Caster's forehead. He had been worried, irrationally so, when his god admitted to staying too long in warm water.]

How do you feel now?

[Caster is tough, even in this body he's still a Servant. Archer still can't help but worry.]
