Shin slows to a stop, letting his bass ring out his last notes. He's surprised to see her admit anything of the sort, but he's going to accept her praise. She might be used to people getting upset when she says something to undercut the little praise she gives, but Shin just smirks. He lets his bass hang from it's strap over his shoulder as he pulls out a cigarette, "Well, I wouldn't want to leave you too far behind."

Pointedly Shin lights his cigarette while his bass is still rumbling out the last of the note just to mock her loss.
