revolutionfalcon: (about time)

[Shun didn't bring any of his shinki with him tonight, even if he did have a soulless, so he doesn't respond to the suggestion of someone asking their own. Thankfully, Zelda solves that problem quickly enough, so he turns his attention to how the events unfold in front of them.

He's always hated the time it takes to recite the naming spell, but here he's paying it far more mind than he typically does, wondering if there's anything strange or different visible even at this early juncture.

When the soulless shinki shifts forms, Shun's eyes narrow, and he follows the movement as Ginia raises her wrists to show everyone the vessel. As soon as she revokes the name and steps aside, Shun glances back to the soulless shinki.]

So there's no need for an existing connection, and it's not a unique circumstance. Other than the system, this raises a lot more questions about what the hell soulless shinki even are compared to others here.

[They're human in form, but they're called "soulless" and are largely empty of emotion or will. There's always been a lot of questions about that lingering, and the idea that they'll submit to the naming of shinki as well just raises even more.]
