On one hand, for all that he's been decried as lazy, Chikusa has never liked losing, or taking too much effort in a fight. Simultaneously, however, he can recognize Ginia for being as talented as she is, although it's helped by the fact that she's not currently any kind of real enemy or someone that he hates. Her attacks are relentless, forcing him to keep moving even as he tries to return fire. In defiance of the cool winter air, it's drawing up a sweat onto his skin. That's going to be annoying later....

Up against a wall, his brain hastily comes up with something, and he draws a borderline in front of himself both to block her attacks and to let him jump off of it, using it and the wall to gain a little more height so that he can send a borderline down at her. It's sparring- a perfect time to test a possibly stupid idea in case it's worthwhile in the field.
