I guess for me it's always so much about protecting my friend who I'm affecting with the spell, that it's pretty easy to focus on just that. Maybe using their name and vessel name interchangeably, since I don't tend to memorize those.

I think mainly, I just don't go off thinking about another spell - and we can't change into vessel form, obviously, so Rending is out of the question too.
