[Closed] Who let the dogs out!

Who: Add and Rin
When: December 25th
Where: The Near Shore
What: Prayer #16, on a mission to reunite a dog with their owner!

[ Finally they were doing a mission! Rin's glad to be of assistance to some real godly work! No dealing with forest freaks, or wrecking the heavens. Something that's really going to make an impact on someone's life. Okay, maybe they are here just to find a lost dog, but still Rin feels he can be useful!

The prayer originates from a suburban area a little outside of Tokyo. So the neighborhood is pretty quiet, and there's not many people walking about. Not that it matters, since people couldn't really see them.

He looks towards Add, unable to contain his excitement.]
So what should we do first? Should we put up missing posters? Question some witnesses? Or should we shake up the local gang for answers?

[Of course, Rin thinks finding a lost dog is similar to finding a missing person.]

[Add had been slacking on his divine duties long before his return to Elrios, so it was only a matter of time before the list of prayers became too large for him to keep ignoring. How does a god of chaos and the unending void inspire so many followers, anyway?

He's trying to be more annoyed, but Rin's attitude is disgustingly infectious. He's forced to settle for a mild disinterest. Add trails a few steps behind his shinki, hands in his pockets.]

If we yell it's name for awhile it'll probably show up. Or I could just have Dynamo and Apocalypse scan the area and go back to the temple where it's warm...

It's a lost dog, not a murder. I don't think we'll be finding many clues...

[The suggestion does give him some pause, though, despite his grumbling. It really would be easier to use a machine to search the area rather than running around on foot like this... but he can think of one other method that might be more effective. Hmm.

He speeds up just enough to catch up with Rin, reaching out to put a hand on his sleeve. Without any more warning than that they're teleported away to the owner and prayer-giver's home, standing in a messy kid's bedroom with a few dog toys scattered around. Add lets go once they've arrived, slowing to a stop.]

Your vessel form is a dog as well, isn't it?

[He chuckles lightly, pleased that Rin caught on to the plan so quickly. What better way to track a dog than with another dog?]

Kaki. [no time to waste! the longer they wait the colder that trail is going to get...] You lead the way. Once we have a better idea of where it's gone to, I can perform a wide-range scan with Dynamo to speed up the process. We'll be done here in no time.

[Add takes a step back once Rin transforms, giving him room to search for a trail. Akita Inus aren't exactly Bloodhounds, but he should still be able to track it, right...?

He doesn't have much time for doubt before Rin is barking at him and nudging him out of the room. Add follows behind him a moment later, gliding on his Dynamos to keep up with the energetic pooch.

They're heading out the front door. So, the dog must've slipped out this way... perhaps someone at home left the door open by mistake? Or there was something outside the dog couldn't resist chasing after. Hmm.]

By the way, you can talk in that form. [Sort of. It's more like god-to-shinki telepathy than actually talking, but since it never really came up the last time they worked together and Rin's been barking this whole time...]
