[ It’s not as if he needs a lot of time to adjust to the place—despite all the changes that have happened in his absence it appears that this temple is as confusing and mutable as ever. The only difference is that it holds a few more occupants than what he’s used to, but that’s fine. It’s about time he starts paying more attention to the other shinki around these parts anyway, especially as he’s the only responsible adult on the premises…

So he does look a little surprised when he finds someone else in the kitchen so early that morning. ]

Ah, you would be Rin, correct? [ Poor thing, to share a name with one of Add’s more annoying inventions. ]

[ Rin normally doesn't wake up this early. He often sleeps through his alarm clock, and he could probably sleep the whole day, if no one bothers him. However, this morning he's too hungry to sleep, and he figures that everyone else might get hungry too. So he's in the kitchen in the middle of making Japanese style omelets, when Jakob walks in.

He turns towards the other shinki, his appearance is a bit disheveled since he didn't really bother. Though, now he wishes he's a bit more presentable.]

I am, and you must be Jakob, right? I've heard a lot about you, though it's nice to put a name to a face.

[Rin smiles at the older man, genuinely.]
