[Snow leopard fur is a lot softer than he would have expected, and with how thick it is, he doesn't feel all that worried about making sure he's got a good, solid grip. The goal here is to investigate, and while he doesn't let himself get particularly distracted by his own thoughts, Ginia may find herself on the receiving end of some idle, appreciative scratches behind her ears and around her neck at times when they stop to take a closer look at a potential hiding place.
