Some people have been hallucinating, I think... Or, at least, they're not in a stable frame of mind.
[Granted, that could just be.... the Far Shore being itself, but Ebisu isn't inclined to think about that sort of thing.]
Anyway, some people have come as prepared as they can be, but they don't have access to the sort of resources I do.
[Which is. money.]
