Heh- not really. The gods have to kill ayakashi and otherwise help take care of the living, so some gods pretty much live among them.

In a way you're right though. We aren't quite on the same level. Gods and shinki and other spirits- we're all in the human's blind spots. When you try to talk to them, they won't notice you very well.
