There was a lot to wrap her mind around. Bo suddenly felt like she was back to when she'd just learned that she was Fae and that there was this whole world she'd never known about before. It would take a bit of getting used to on her part. Learning new things, new roles, finding out how divided or unified the gods actually were.

So long as she didn't have to sit there in the unaligned middle between two halves on the brink of war with each other again. Doing that with the Fae had been difficult and headache-inducing enough. She didn't need to repeat the experience.

"I'm the type that upon hitting a roadblock, I break it down. And if it doesn't break, regardless of how much I attack, I find a way around it." People withheld knowledge all the time. Everyone she'd known, save Kenzi, had lied to her for one reason or another. And she hated playing games like that when she needed information.

She looked down the path, noting the city lights on one side, and the darkness on the other. It seemed ominous, something she wasn't certain if it would lead to pain or not. Bo was certain it wouldn't be sunshine and rainbows, but she could still hope that it wouldn't be awful as a lot of the shit she'd suffered in her own world.
