Kurama's seen demons with any number of ridiculous abilities over the years, ice control and killer yo-yos and creating explosives out of thin air, but all of those were things that could be learned to some degree. It's only a matter of finding one's aptitudes, which could admittedly be difficult if one lived in isolation.
