When: Beginning of March
Where: The Near Shore
What: An open catch all post, prompts inside
The Near Shore
A
Hope had never seen cherry blossoms before. But with Spring coming up, it was kind of all he heard about. So, he took it upon himself to go to the Near Shore and wander about the streets of Tokyo to look for the areas with the cherry blossom sightings. It wasn't long before he had a Sakura flavored coffee drink warming his hands as he wandered through a blooming grove of trees. They really were beautiful, but their pink color reminded him of a certain someone.
He held his hand out to a few of the petals fall around him, one landing in the palm of his hand. He couldn't feel it through his gloves, but were it like any other flower petal, it'd be soft and smooth and delicate.
"They say you had rose-colored hair," He murmured. "And I'd started it, didn't I? But after seeing these, I suppose I could say I was wrong. How would you feel if I said your hair was sakura colored? Cherry blossom seems too long."
He sighed, letting the wind take the petal away. "I wish you could see this... Lightning. The New World... I wonder if it would have been like this one."
He took a sip of the warm drink, shoving his hand into his jacket pocket and made his way towards a bench to sit. He didn't think he would suddenly feel so melancholy, but he supposed it couldn't be helped. It's only been over a month or so and he was still alone here. He hadn't done much with himself either which felt like a failing on his part. It was a lot hard to keep moving forward than he thought it would be.

What's with all these chickens? Okay, they were roosters, but still. Even Hope was finding them grating as they crowed like there was no tomorrow. No wonder people were getting angry at the rude noise in the morning. But he had no idea just where they were coming from, let alone what to do with them!
The boy simply settled on, for now, firing some sleep spells on them to quiet them down. He rubbed his head, holding one sleeping rooster under his arm that was unfortunately enough to be on a tall building. It had fallen when put to sleep, but Hope quickly caught it and now...
"What do I do with you? With any of you?" He said out loud, looking at the feathery animal in his arms.
C
"Hina-matsuri..." He read the name on the display, looking up at the dolls lined up on the red carpet. It was an interesting tradition, he felt, and stayed there to read up on the history and meaning behind it all. Once done, he spent that time admiring the displays as the making of the dolls seemed very refined and delicate at once.
That being said, he didn't remain in this part of the museum the whole time. This was a museum, after all, and a great chance to read up on the history of this world! So, Hope could be found in essentially all sections today. From prehistoric to contemporary, admiring the displays and reading their plagues, wandering the art galleries and sitting on a long bench to simply gaze at the many ukiyo-e paintings and woodblock prints.
And to think, "A lot of countries have such varying cultures... I wonder if I could visit more of these museums." He wanted to check out the Greek history next, as it was what Hecate was from.
