[closed] some people have the weirdest fears

Who: Alex and D2
When: 21st February, late afternoon
Where: Oshun’s temple
What: Talking about reasons behind bubble related panic attacks
Warnings: Mentions of brutal death and panic attacks to start with, we’ll see where it goes after that. Things will be mentioned in subject headers.

[ After a very unsettling morning D2 decided to ditch collective training day completely in favor of doing any form of physical activity in the Near Shore away from the most densely Far Shorian populated areas. Some gyms in particular are good for that, and punching/kicking a sandbag or facing another person who’s got no clue about the stuff going on in his head is good way to just get to get away from things for a while.

He’d talked to Hakkai because he’d been right nearby when he felt like he had been blown up all over again. He’d talked to Hibiki because she had been awakened by the thunderous emotions that he had faced.

Today was a long day from the moment it started, and he knew that it was not over yet. He has yet to talk to Alex and he’s already decided early on that he would to talk to her about what he’d remembered this morning. Night. Well, it was pretty close to the time he usually got out of bed anyway, so, morning. Anyway. She was the one who’d had to deal with his panic attack way back when he had discovered that bubbles freaked him out after all. The whole death bit wasn’t something he had expected would accompany that, but it is what it is.

He didn’t want to interrupt in the middle of the day, in case she was busy. Usually people tended to have things to do during the day, and today was a newcomer day so it was an extra busy day for a lot of people.

But eventually, D2 heads over toward her temple, after getting rid of as much of the weariness he’s been carrying around this last week since Forrest’s disappearance. He got rid of the panic from that morning, he’s come to terms with knowing how he died and honestly it might be better to know, because now he doesn’t have to wonder why he can’t really deal with something as normal as bubbles plus he had had to stop himself from wondering more than once.

To be fair, he doesn’t know if she’s in at the moment, but if not, he can just wait around at her doorstep. It’s not like he’s not used to waiting around, and when he has a purpose that’s easier to do. As he waits he picks at his dog tags, a little absently picking at the seam of his pink and blue pants. He adjusts his tee's neck when the chain catches the fabric. ]
