It's not what Ebisu says that makes Aymeric think; it's what he doesn't. After all the somewhat praise of the Heavens, when asked for his own opinion, the subject changes. Now anyone else would find such a tactic horrible but Aymeric sees beyond the words. Mayhap to keep appearances? To protect?

Either way, he has a feeling that the god of fortune does not fully agree with 'Heaven is just' as Aymeric takes another sip of his tea. Or maybe he's pulling this thought out of his ass. Either way, there's more to it than meets the eye.
