Multicoloured kindnesses, met by chance, one by one
Who: Yuna and EVERYONE. No CR? No problem, drop on by to make new friends!
When: March 21st, all day
Where: Shinju's Temple
What: Hanami birthday party yayayay
[With a blanket invitation delivered, the only matter of business left is ensuring the temple is set up nicely for a gathering!
The main attraction of the day, of course, being flower-viewing in the temple's courtyard. With light snacks and refreshments lined up at tables inside the building itself and blankets and pillows available to pick up for lounging under the flowering branches, the 'viewing' part of the day should be set. As winds blow lazily through the area, blossoms in an array of colors are occasionally shaken free from the tree, falling in gentle showers to the ground below, creating a serene, relaxing atmosphere. A handful of paper lanterns have been strategically placed around the grounds as well, ensuring that anyone who happens to arrive or stay as the sun sets can still have a good view.
Elsewhere in the temple, the room Yuna uses largely for crafts appears to have spilled over somewhat. There are a few stands set up with origami paper, watercolors and brushes arranged at a table with a few chairs, card stock, glue, colored pencils, stickers, ribbons, and most importantly, there are flowers. There are flowers everywhere. Some arranged tastefully in vases, some dried and pressed and left alongside the other craft supplies, clearly for use in tandem with whatever you feel like making with the other things left out in such a tantalizing way. Go ahead. Make some stuff.
And, while the invitation had been extended to pretty much anyone wanting to drop by, should any of Yuna's friends decide to stay a little longer, she'll let them know of a cozy hot spring bath in one of the back rooms of the temple. Towels will be provided, of course, so why not stay and have a soak to wind the day down with?
The hostess herself will be roaming about the party in high spirits, ready and willing to top up beverages, share a snack, or just have a nice chat. So - kick back! Enjoy the sights!]

What brought that "evil" part, did he beat you up? [ Good and bad are often very relative ]
no subject
... He's pretty damn ruthless, isn't he? And on top of that, the guy kind of dresses like a supervillain. I mean, he's covered in spikes and has a tail. A tail.
no subject
Sounds to me like you're quite fond of him.

I'd like to hear about that tho- so what is he about?

You pass- Congratulations. [ While he is not exactly sure if Berserker finds joy in anything, the fighting spree indeed might be the closest to what he sees as "fun" ] If you're not an "enemy" there is nothing to worry about.
[ And if you're an ally there might be no safer place than behind Berserker. But that might be too much of an extrapolation. Still- Caster saw how his altered side cares about his shinki. Not to mention loyalty is such a core factor for "Cú Chulainn" ]

... What about you, though. What's your story?
no subject
[ Right, they haven't got to the names. He hesitates a bit, if just because his god name is the same as his true name, and thus giving it up could give up Berserker's name as well. On the other hand, it is out there anyway, and people rarely figure it out. ]
Cú Chulainn, I go by Caster. You?
no subject
[Cú Chulainn. She knows that name from mythology. And she's pretty sure she's seen the weapon from that myth in both Finé and S.O.N.G.'s list of potential relics. That explained Berserker's lance.]
But Caster, huh? I guess that means you're a wizard or something?

Druid. [ Albeit a temporary and provisional one ] I'd really rather be a Lancer. It's all thanks to my mentor I can manifest this way. She drilled the rune magic into me as much as she taught me the spear techniques.
[ And yes, of course, his Berserker self has the spear, while he doesn't. Sheesh ]

[It sounds kind of... weird, to her. Almost like something from a game. Do you collect different versions of the same dude based on their skills or something?]

I'd keep it simple and say "blame mages" but it wouldn't answer your question, right?

Fine, but you know- if we're sitting here sharing life stories, I'd say it's your turn. What's your deal, Chris?
no subject
I'm. Not really sure my life story is the kind of thing you tell at a party...

Thank you. As for what god I am, I'm the goddess Ishtar.

[She sighs.] But I'm managing. Somehow.

[She shook her head.]
But I'm managing somehow.
no subject
But I get what you mean. I had once spent a week part-timing at a bar. No idea what it has to do with me, but it was an enjoyable experience.
no subject
I'm not really sure those situations are similar. But. Yeah, I'm kinda hoping they will. Still, I hope someone else picks up on that...
... The ones that don't come from total creeps, anyway.

[ Kind of like, divine misfortune for that kind of people? I have heard your prayers AND I DON'T LIKE THEM, go somewhere else ]
Sorry, you have to go through that, tho.
