Multicoloured kindnesses, met by chance, one by one

[With a blanket invitation delivered, the only matter of business left is ensuring the temple is set up nicely for a gathering!

The main attraction of the day, of course, being flower-viewing in the temple's courtyard. With light snacks and refreshments lined up at tables inside the building itself and blankets and pillows available to pick up for lounging under the flowering branches, the 'viewing' part of the day should be set. As winds blow lazily through the area, blossoms in an array of colors are occasionally shaken free from the tree, falling in gentle showers to the ground below, creating a serene, relaxing atmosphere. A handful of paper lanterns have been strategically placed around the grounds as well, ensuring that anyone who happens to arrive or stay as the sun sets can still have a good view.

Elsewhere in the temple, the room Yuna uses largely for crafts appears to have spilled over somewhat. There are a few stands set up with origami paper, watercolors and brushes arranged at a table with a few chairs, card stock, glue, colored pencils, stickers, ribbons, and most importantly, there are flowers. There are flowers everywhere. Some arranged tastefully in vases, some dried and pressed and left alongside the other craft supplies, clearly for use in tandem with whatever you feel like making with the other things left out in such a tantalizing way. Go ahead. Make some stuff.

And, while the invitation had been extended to pretty much anyone wanting to drop by, should any of Yuna's friends decide to stay a little longer, she'll let them know of a cozy hot spring bath in one of the back rooms of the temple. Towels will be provided, of course, so why not stay and have a soak to wind the day down with?

The hostess herself will be roaming about the party in high spirits, ready and willing to top up beverages, share a snack, or just have a nice chat. So - kick back! Enjoy the sights!]

Mine kept coming out wrong, I even did the amount of folds needed but they didn't look like cranes.

[ Elfnein holds up one, it's more of a half bird shape, while she did the right amount of folds it wasn't in the right places. ]

Hmmm... [ Caster taps his chin as he looks at the kitten, then at the Elfnein's crane- the cat he made is of a similar difficulty level of a crane, maybe even with few more steps. But there could always be- ]

Oh, I know! Let's start with something for warm-up. [ He gets paper and demonstrates making a simple cat-head

It does need a finishing touch of a drawn face with markers tho ]

I think I can do that without any problems.

[ Elfnein is following every step that Caster did, and a few minutes later there is a cat without a face. ]

Good job! Now the last touch-up and it's done

[ Grand success! Caster picks up a marker and rolls it toward Elfnein, and he draws a face on his paper cat-face ]

[ Elfnein draws a standard =^_^= type face with the marker, it's cute and simple. ]

Is there a way to make a dog as well? It'll be a matching set then.

[ Caster, chill, not everyone want to call you a dog. She just said- ]

[ Grumpily, he starts to figure out this doggo ]

I wasn't implying anything... isn't it normal to pair cats and dogs?

[ Elfnein is slightly confused at why Caster freaked out a little, it's just a simple dog. ]

[futhark]

I suppose- [ He got issues, but he's calm now. It's all okay ]

Man, live with humans long enough and they will pair you up, even if you dislike each other. [ He hands Elfnein the finished shaped ] It needs a face too

[alchemists]

I think it's normal for humans to pair things up, it's a mindset of groups of two are the preferred amount.

[ Elfnein starts drawing some eyes and a nose on the finished piece Caster handed over. ]

[futhark]

Hmm, you might be onto something. Pairs, trinities, there's a lot of that right?

[ Caster puts the cat head next to the freshly finished doggie head. ]

Good job, you can keep them or give them to someone as a gift.

Don't you want to keep one of them?

Would you want that?

I don't mind if you keep one, I can always make another one and I want you to have something from our craft session.
