[As Tsubasa leaves her questioning, she ... well. She's been able to keep her composure throughout most of it, even if she's let her annoyance known. While she still sort of has it walking away, the irritation is written on her face all that more thoroughly.
She's tried to remain mostly neutral to things she's encountered so far, but for an old god to just so happen to be dressed up akin to one of Amaterasu's shinki leaves her feeling a bit of unease. It feels deceptive, but for what reason?
Either way, she has things to do, but she's going to linger a little while longer to get her head together, potentially catching others coming and going.]
[B - Shinki Training]
[This time, opposed to two weeks prior, she's just sort of passing through and getting a feel for new arrivals on the shinki side of things. She'd come across one shinki who ended up without a god the previous time, and she at least wants to get a feel for making sure at least people are taken care of. She's not exactly sure how much she trusts the "heavens" to do so.
Perhaps Maria's tendency to mother people stuck in her head more than she'd like to admit.
Regardless, she's also on the look out for Rita, to see if her shinki is poking around for anything new. She feels a vested interest there, and not just because it would help them in battle.
She's mostly just loitering here, though.]
[C - Physical Training]
[Tsubasa cannot get over the distinct feeling that they're being tested this time. Between the questions, and now this...
At the very least, this is of no matter to her. She needs the practice. There's only so much she can get from Rita and Chris in terms of keeping her skills sharp. She's been exercising regularly, dragging others into her workouts, but... It's not quite the same, nor is it quite enough.
So she stands more than ready to take all comers, if only to hone her own skills. If anything, it's something she's showing to be a lot more enthusiastic about, and maybe it has to do with getting a crack maybe at one of those old gods? After the earlier part of the day, it could be cathartic.]
[OOC: Threads here beyond things taking place on the outskirts of it or something unusual may (sort of obviously) well involve Rita Mordio (blahblahblah) or/and Dark Precure (inthemoonlightsshadow), if her naming hits anywhere in the vicinity where it'd be probable, in at least their vessel forms. Willing to take requests for anything specific.]
[D - Rest and Refreshments 1]
[Tsubasa recognizes she's letting certain things get under her skin. While on the one hand she feels like it's unbecoming of her, she knows she's just human, and perhaps the stress is getting to her a little. So, she's fully planning on relaxing--
When the old gods start their stories. She listens with detached interest, but sort of feels like they're trying to make a certain point today. One which isn't something she's sure she likes. Especially after the questioning. Especially after they've already been pitted against them in mock battles, here and there...
Then comes the challenge. Her brow furrows, and she almost immediately rises, stepping forward. She doesn't take well to this mocking, and more or less takes the bait.]
You have a great many claims of your glorious past, but the "glory" of battle itself is not something to celebrate, necessarily. The victory, perhaps. But chest thumping such as that proves little. Besides...
[She places one hand on her hip, and smirks.] Limiting it to only our time in the Far Shore is hardly fair. Your time here greatly outweighs our own, thus your stories are far more likely to be broader.
[Her vision flicks to the rest of the room briefly, before continuing.] I am hardly one to brag, but my comrades and I have averted the end times of our world four times over. Between stopping a chunk of our moon from colliding with the Earth, or ancient Alchemists who very nearly wiped out human life on our world to fulfill their goals... [She focuses back on the old gods.] I feel as though I am not the only one in this room who would have similar stories to share. Perhaps consider you may have a thing or two to learn from us fledgling "newer" gods, regardless of what we have been able to accomplish here.
[She then gives a small, polite bow.]
I think it is something to consider, at least.
[...annnnnnnnd takes a seat as if she hadn't said something completely insane sounding.]
[E - Rest and Refreshments 2]
[Tsubasa is otherwise quiet outside of her outburst. Really, as if nothing had happened, sitting and munching on a snack, and... pointedly avoiding the alcohol.
A swordsentinel performer's mind must be clear at all times, after all.
Are you the sort of person who maybe shouldn't be getting drunk, though? She's definitely going to give you the evil eye. Maybe try to stop you if she knows you.
Otherwise, she's just mulling over the day. It could have been a better day.
Perhaps, these people don't mean much harm in the end. Perhaps, they are just stuck in their way.
Either way they've managed to work their way under Kazanari Tsubasa's skin, and that's an impressive feat to say the least.
If she's not giving the stink eye to any potential underage drinkers, she's otherwise approachable. Mostly!]
