"Well, it couldn't hurt. For example, while Rending is the only way that can take care of an ayakashi, that doesn't mean we can't defend ourselves if we're separated from our gods, right?" He flicks one finger up. "Borderlines are important but they're not everything. It's good to work hard on basic training. I suppose it's a little like covering one's bases. Mastering every weapon is a little silly, so just knowing the basics of another weapon or two seems like it's the best thing."
