It's one of those things that's been a big question since they arrived, but they've never seemed to get any closer to an answer.] If it isn't related to them, then why those dolls existed and why they're so connected to us is an even bigger question. But you're right that if they knew we were supposed to be here, you'd think they would have tried to sway us. I've wondered why they never bothered to since the start.
