Shinki Training [ Naturally, Kairi is handing out pamphlets to anyone she doesn't recognize. For anyone who does have one, she's happy to approach with her typical welcome gesture - her hands tucked behind her back, leaning halfway over, and grinning at them with her head all tilted in line with her upper body.
Anyone she's practiced spellwork with before is welcome to check in with her too! She might even be the first one to approach: ]
Hey, how's practice going for you? Have you worked on any songs yet? I heard they're planning something for later! I'm so excited!
Physical Training + Birthday Chatter [ Especially if it's someone she knows pretty well, Kairi will approach with a friendly wave, before setting her expression to a confident smile. ]
How about it? Wanna race? [ She holds up one arm to flex. ] I've been doing morning jogging almost the whole time I've been here!
[ At some point she'll chuckle. ]
Ah... how time flies... almost a year here as a shinki! It was the middle of may last year.
[ Regardless, she's definitely ready to try out this obstacle course, or at least a run around the outside track of it. Kairi's particularly good at the balance sections, and jumping from stump to stump. She does fun things like leaning forward on one leg, balancing like a ballerina, before jumping to the next stump. ]
Rest and Refreshments [ Sure enough, Kairi's ready to sing! She doesn't know the songs at all, but once she hears them, she's happy to echo them back. It reminds her of Maria singing to the children, and a few other singers that have since left them. Nostalgia on her mind thanks to coming up on her year "birthday", she does get a few tears in her eyes at some points. She wipes her eyes and keeps singing though. ]
I hope they're happy, wherever they are now.
[ Once the shinki are done, Kairi gestures to anyone who will listen. ]
Has anyone learned new songs lately? I only know two - Song for Warding Off Lightning and Song of Fire Fighting. We can practice them if you'd like!
