Gods have context for themselves. It's the thought Ginia always spirals back to. Gods know who they are, what they've been through, what's waiting for them if they leave. Shinki don't have that advantage and even the few that get memories back never learn anything (to her knowledge).
It should be a second chance, a way to live again without any lingering regrets or attachments. But it doesn't quite work that way for their generation, does it.
A slow sigh escapes as Ginia nods, Minako's words hitting so close because not only does she worry about it, but she's learned more about herself. And as it stands, she was very mean to people in her life. Dangerous, even.
"I think most shinki act as close as they can be. We still react the only ways we know and that can say a lot." Ginia tries to smile reassuringly at Minako. Of what she's seen, Minako is a nice and caring person. Worrying about her past self speaks a lot.
(To some degree, Ginia knows her own reflection says a lot, but she's also betting Minako was not an assassin with a long kill list.)
"If a shinki did learn about themself in a negative way, do you think they should tell people?"
