While moving with ease to keep up with Arima as they maneuvered through the streets, something about it all just struck Kaneki with an unusual sense of nostalgia and he wasn't even entirely sure why. He had to push it aside and focus on the matter at hand, pale gray eyes scanning their surroundings easily and his senses on high alert.

He assumed it was because he was a shinki that his senses seemed heightened to what a human's probably was, not thinking twice about it and simply utilizing it to try and help the other the best he was able to.

"...Barely. It's faint but... I can feel something coming from that direction." Kaneki raised a hand to point toward a location northeast of where they currently stood. It wasn't much to go on but better than nothing and they'd likely find ayakashi and the source of where their prayer came from.
