kingengine: (This time I'll get it right)

[He grunts while nodding in firm affirmation, cheering on the inside for good old Demon Cyborg wanting to be violent, as to be expected from him.

He inhales deeply through his nose, trying to gather up the courage to let go of the door. One the count of three, he hurried away from the door, stepping backwards until he was behind Genos--both to be shielded by the cyborg, and to make sure he's not caught in a fire blast or something. Genos was possibly just as, if not moreso, dangerous. (Though, King does know he wouldn't harm an innocent bystander on person, but even cyborgs aren't exempt from making mistakes.)

The door slides open with a clattering slam as soon as it wasn't being held down, and King flinches as he sees the terrible creature again. He's "faced" many monsters back home, and they were terrifying, but most of everything he's come up against looked silly compared to this withered, humanoid being that walked on all fours with spindly limbs.

It doesn't rush forward right away. Instead, it flings it's long, spiny tongue around in front of it, as if trying to flick acid drool drops all over the two of them.

He's proud that he only squeaked instead of scream.]
