[Roxas had sent her a note. He never got a reply. So it's with a heavy heart that he sets out for his 'sisters' temple. He had read a similar story once in mythology. How Artemis had been the reason one of Aphrodite's attendants died. It felt strangely like history was meant to repeat itself, even if they both weren't actually the goddesses they represented.

He walks up to her broken door and knocks on what's left of it. Her temple looks awful... How were gods supposed to fix this? Roxas shakes his head a bit. No need to worry about that now. He can't stay long. Sora doesn't know where he's gone. He takes a deep breath before knocking again.]

[ He hasn't gotten a reply back because... she's kind of a mess right now. Kind of. She's been crying for a while now, and whenever she thinks about what she's done, it makes her chest tighten and just brings more tears.

Her temple's a mess. Pippa doesn't know how she'll fix it, but she really doesn't care, at this point. Roxas doesn't get a reply, other than a sniffle and sob from further inside the temple. ]

[The sob is enough for him to venture inside. There's discomfort for sure, but it's easy to ignore for now. Looking around he's sure this was once a beautiful place.]

Pippa?

[Where is she?]

[turpitude]

[ Her name echoes in the temple, and she stiffens. Oh. She's not... afraid of him, but she's afraid of telling him what she's done. ]

Roxas...?

[ She says it quietly, weakly, and she manages to get up and approach him. ]

[missingache]

[Tensing, he's watches her come closer to him. What should be expect? She looks so frail...]

Yeah. It's me. I'm... I'm so sorry...

[ Why is he apologizing...? ]

W-why...?

[missingache]

... You didn't see the note? I... I have more info than what I put in it now...

N-note? What note--

[ ... oh, right, her device had buzzed. Pip pulls it out and reads it over, and then--

She bursts into tears, dropping the thing to the ground and burying her face in her hands. ]

[missingache]

[He really does want to comfort her... would she let him. He at least gets close enough where he can easily reach out, or get any punishment from her that he knows will be coming to him.]

He... He didn't do this on his own. He got the idea from someone else... The others are okay, but you never answered.

[turpitude]

[ Well... she doesn't stop him. ]

I... I-I... [ She can't say it. She... she can't. Pippa wraps her arms around herself, and she wants to tell him, but the words get stuck in her throat... ]

[missingache]

[... Roxas doesn't let too much show on his face. This has to be hard for her. She lost someone trusted to his idiotic slip. He lost his best friend, but she... has she ever had to lose her friends before to death?]

... it's okay if you hate me. I'll just leave you alone, okay?

No, no... no, I don't-- I don't hate you, Roxas!

[missingache]

But... [He looks confused now.] I... I started this...

[turpitude]

[ She's sniffling again, oh no. Pippa wipes her eyes, and she really wishes she had a handkerchief... ]

You said so yourself in your message, did you not? You did not know... and he would not stop pressing you for more answers.

[missingache]

[Roxas doesn't have a handkerchief, but he did have a cloth on him. He'd been meaning to use it as a compress for Sora but forgot. So he holds it out for Pippa.]

Yeah... I thought about it a lot. I think... I think someone convinced him to do it.

[turpitude]

[ She takes it, wiping her eyes. ]

Th-thank you. [ ... ] Who?

[missingache]

... I need to make sure I got the right person, first... do you want me to tell you when I find out?

[As long as you promise not to do something stupid?]

[turpitude]

[ She wipes her eyes again, because the tears are still falling. ]

I shall... like it, if you do.

[missingache]

Just don't go after them. Please? I... If it's who I think it is, it might be better if I do.

[turpitude]

I think I shall not fight anyone for... quite some time.

[missingache]

That's okay. I... don't want to, either.

[turpitude]

[ She hesitates. And then... ]

I... He died here, Roxas.

[missingache]

[He swallows hard before looking around. It's then he walks over and gently pulls Pippa into a hug.]

You can stay with me, if you want. Till this place gets fixed up.

[turpitude]

[ He's... he's hugging her. She stiffens slightly, and it takes a few moments before she tentatively wraps her arms around him. ]

Would you oppose to having my shinki stay, as well?

[missingache]

I've got enough room. I don't mind.

[It's better that they both are in a safe place.]
