What: Hakkai is bringing one white dragon by to meet another.
Warnings: Fluff?

[Jae-Ha's directions had been easy to follow; Hakkai drops by later in the afternoon. He'll have to visit the mortal plane for groceries later, and make dinner, and perhaps do laundry... he puts the mental to-do list aside as he raps loudly on the door. On his shoulder, Jeep cranes his long neck down, cheeping dubiously.]

I'm sure you'll enjoy meeting each other. [Cheep.] He's a nice young man, and, in fact, something of a dragon as well.

[If Jeep's face were more mobile, the expression he's giving Hakkai would be scathing. As it is, he ably manages "dubious." Hakkai smiles, and waits for someone to answer.]

[Kija isn't expecting a visitor. He almost doesn't get up, because if it's someone here to see Youji, he extra doesn't want to see anyone today. He's honestly just been sulking in the dark feeling bad about how terribly the previous day's prayer went, even if no one was seriously injured...

So, a visitor? It takes him longer than expected to answer the door, but when he does, he perks up slightly with interest. Dragon friend!! And dragon guy.]

Ah— hello!

Hello! I had a little time free this afternoon, and I thought you'd like to see Jeep.

[Hakkai smiles, holding a hand up to Jeep's feet to encourage the dragon to step onto it. Jeep darts his head down, nips Hakkai's finger in silent reprimand, and spreads his wings, sailing over towards Kija to investigate the other shinki.]

[!!! Dragon friend is approaching him, what does he do!! He decides to stand stock still, following the little dragon with his gaze, starry-eyed. Ah...]

He is... remarkable! Did you try the turkey sandwiches?

He does seem to like bread, but no, I haven't yet. What do you think, Jeep?

[Jeep swoops back around to land on Hakkai's shoulder again, and cranes his neck curiously toward Kija.]

... I suppose it's worth a try. Try letting him sniff your fingers?

[He's a bit taller than Kija; he bends down, just a little, so that Jeep is in easier range.]

[His dragon advice(tm) is that turkey sandwiches are great, but ah- okay!! He holds up his scaly hand helpfully for Jeep to observe.]

And— cake is good, as well. They sell some at the convenience store that is very delicious... [he just wants... to feed this little dragon.....]

I'm fairly sure cake isn't good for dragons.

[Jeep's chirp sounds a little thoughtful, and he stretches his neck out to sniff at Kija's claws. The white opalescence of his muzzle does match Kija's scales, Hakkai notices, smiling.]

Although if you'd like to try a little lunchmeat on him, I'm sure he wouldn't mind!

Ah. [Don't look now, but that's the sound of Kija becoming Nervous. Has he been eating too much cake? Is he going to get sick again, like with the milk??] It was very delicious, however.

[Anyway, he's busy staring in wonder at Jeep. Ohhhh goodness, little dragon...]

I— I happen to have sliced ham, if you have time...!

Although a little bit of cake for a larger dragon probably won't be a problem!

[Hakkai smiles kindly at the distressed look on Kija's face.] We certainly have time. Would you like to try a bit of ham, Jeep?

[Jeep seems amenable to this plan; he takes off from Hakkai's shoulder again, darting past Kija to hover in the entryway. Hakkai chuckles, glancing to Kija.]

... You'll have to lead the way!

[Ah, so he won't die from konbini cake, that's great... He's still watching Jeep, tearing his eyes away only to glance briefly at Hakkai before shuffling backwards into the temple.]

Yes...! The kitchen is this way!

[TIME FOR HAM]

[Time for ham, apparently! Hakkai stifles his chuckles politely, waiting at the edge of the kitchen doorway as Jeep flies in a curious loop around the room, head darting left and right to examine every inch of the place.]

Ah, Jeep appreciates your hospitality.

[The little dragon lands on the edge of the counter, wings flaring as he scrabbles for purchase before sitting up and regarding Kija with alert interest.]

[It's sooo time for ham. Kija is quick to get the package out of the fridge, fumbling with it only a little in his excitement(!!) to feed a fellow Great Dragon.

So after he struggles with plastic deli packaging, he holds up a slice of ham to offer Jeep. This is the most awestruck anyone has ever held up ham before in all of history.]

Can you understand him? [do you have a PSYCHIC DRAGON CONNECTION, Hakkai]

[Jeep sinks tiny fangs into the nearest corner of the ham slice and tears off a chunk with a jerk of his head, swallowing it whole. His long throat ripples, and his neck arches dubiously as he considers the rest of the slice.

Hakkai, meanwhile, beams cheerfully from the kitchen doorway.]

Oh, not completely! I'm starting to understand him better and better, though.

[Jeep would probably be happier with him if he did have a psychic connection. Careful observation will have to do for now.]
